Here's my boy! Proof that your dog can look terrible for most of his life and then one day fully fill out and look fine, LOL. He had the weirdest structure up until he was like 4 years old! Then he finally filled out with muscle and gained weight and he looks great now. He gained about 10lbs after he was 3 1/2. His sire supposedly grew another inch after he was 2. The breeder said this would happen and I didnt believe her but I was wrong I guess because he finally filled out.

At age 5, finally fully matured, ha! He was a slow grower for sure.

 

This is Tonka. He is the sire to Aiko.... who is the first dog I posted when I started this thread. This is Tonka in South Dakota. We were right outside Mt. Rushmore.. This is a free stack. Tonka was looking at some Elk in the distance and I got the picture of him. Tonka was my first GSD.. I got him Dec of 1995, when he was 5 months old.
