I have two Drago daughters and absolutely adore them both. Gary Hanrahan has been AWESOME to work with - always available to answer questions, and concerns. He checks up on my girls (even though the sable is not out of his kennel, keeps track of their progress, and takes an interest in their progression. 

My bicolor Barracuda von Hanrahaus is out of a Falk daughter and Drago. Super super girl - can't say enough nice things about her. Free roams in the house, balanced drives, super conformation, excellent health, and great girl. Really enjoy working her. My Drago daughters are the cleaniest pups I've ever raised - very very clean in kennel, crate, and home. Gets along with children, other dogs, and animals - solid, clear-headed girl. Can't wait for her to mature so we can get her in the show ring - she has all her teeth so I hope to go V with her. 

My sable Xochi is out of a Sid Haus Pixner daughter and Drago. Grew up large, but this was predicted as Drago produces big. Massive bone and substance - mistaken for a male frequently due to her power, intensity, and grips. Intense girl with crazy drive - never wants to stop working and playing. VERY vocal - both good and bad. She can be a bit annoying with her vocalizations - whines, shrieks, barks etc. Lives for the ball - crazy food drive - fun to work. She is missing a P1, prelim hip and elbows look fine, and she is DM clear. 

I second Madison that there is no no NO way that Gary would sell Big D - to see them on the field is to see a handler and dog working as one. I doubt he's going to be lost to China anytime soon!

vk4gsd: Canine Concepts (Gary and Pam Hanrahan's kennel) offers fresh and frozen semen. Kovacs Kennels in Australia has shipped frozen Drago semen and have progeny out of Drago. May want to contact them if you are interested.

He's everything I want in a pup. Conformation, drives, attitude, confidence, strong solid nerves. Very nice boy. Couldn't ask for better. 

I like his topline, very straight .

Big money offers for Drago months back from China. This rumor I don't know.

There's been a ton of money offered for the dog..... he's not going anywhere. 

Drago is an impressive dog.  Great drive, and speed to the attack.  I don't live close enough to check him personally, so my information has come from the owner (phone),  and internet.  I've tried to find out some things about his progeny.  People seem happy with their pups from Drago, good drives, etc.,  although I keep hearing how a number of them seem to be "screamers".  This can be a concern if it indicates a nerve issue.  I've seen and worked young dogs with good drives, but later on when the pressure of training arises, the lack of strong nerve begins to show.  When the the dog is truely tested;  then you see what kind of dog you really have.  The good ones have the strong nerve, and hopefully even the fight drive, to handle it in stride. That's when you really know you have a good dog.   I don't know how some of the older Drago progeny are in this.  Anyone know?  Thanks.

Drago had 2 young sons go IPO1 last weekend both with V-scores one here in the States Frank Phillips & Hostile 98-93-97 Thomas Hass with Hancook 98-94-99. Not so bad!!
