I would like to see difference in a 99 and a 100 in any phase.

would only an expert see the difference??

I hear drive drive drive when people describe the pups which is good.  What Im curious about is how the progeny holds up under real pressure.  Lots of nice sport dogs out there with nice drive and decent temperment.  Its when they are put under real pressure that holes are exposed.  Im interested in this stud but more info on the progeny would be nice.

Haz, real pressure can you explain when and where? Thanks

by Haz on 05 May 2014 - 05:05

Pressure from the decoy.

Pressure from environment, slick surfaces, dark room etc.

If some of the progeny are competing and succeeding in sports other then IPO thats also a good sign.  Preferably PSA, SDA, Ring etc..

Police Service work would also be a plus, training video of the dogs taking some pressure..

Haz not sure how old the oldest progeny are, may be an unfair question to ask at this point in time...just guessing.

vk, if the progeny are old enough to get titles, they are definately old enough to test under pressure. Most people doing sport only care about points ......afraid to upset the apple cart with any proofing. thats why weak nerves continue to be a problem in the breed.

Joanro,

"Most people......"

Really?

That perspective is not descriptive of all corners of the IPO world.

Not mine and I'm guessing by your posts and the little I've seen of your dogs, not yours, either.

And, BTW, the experience I've had to date with several Drago puppies has been excellent; extremely athletic (like their dad), FAST into a tug or decoy, big drives, and remarkably clear.

We also saw and worked Drago daily for a week during an excursion to the Hanrahans.  The dog is "as advertised" and even more so in person.

Best,

Kevin
