All friends,

As you know, I know a bit about conformation, but when it comes to a dog of mine or a dog I am interested in I get lost, so your opinion is needed here, all of you, whether a full critique or a minute comment will help me out. In my country we need good dogs to start breeding GSDs, maybe start an official club and shows. So far we could not buy quality breed worthy grown up dogs due to high cost, I think there is a good chance to import a quality stud from Ukraine. This dog is Champion of Moldova, Grand champion of Moldova, Chm of Ukraine, 6xCAC, 3x CACIB, 2xR.CACIB, BOB.. He is IPO1. He has the solid black color gene, so when mated with black/tan females he produces some solid black and some black/tan puppies. He already produced 3 litters.

His pedigree is not impressive and info is missing on many dogs. He does not have official SV HD/ED evaluation but x rays were done, you can give opinion on them too.

Please feel free to comment whether positive or negative, your opinion is important to me. I need your help, please.

Due to problems in Ukraine, owner says it is not possible to make a video.

Ibrahim, I will leave the X ray opinions on others, however, unless you are flying to Ukraine to see this dog and pick him up if you like him, there is no way I would send any money to someone who cannot even send a video of this dog because of problems there.

Yes, there are some issues in Ukraine, but, life is still going on and people do have to function, after all, he is willing to drive to the airport and supposedly ship this dog, yes? Why cant he not take 10 minutes to video a dog and post it on You Tube for a potential client who is willing to pay him money? You asked for opinions my friend, here is mine, the call is yours.

Ibaham, where on the world are you loctaed? And what in your opinion makes this dog desireable for you? I don't know a lot about shepherd lines. But i sure the heck know a bunch of shepherd snobs on the working side. :p (They are all my training friends and i'm one of two people there without a shepherd.)

Just wondering why the owner can't send a quick phone or camera video.

Ibrahim, iffy pedigree aside, he is overangulated and his croup is way too steep. And I agree about the video...wtf is up with that?? If you have internet access and can post pictures of your dog, you can darn well take a video with your cell phone camera, or any half-decent camera with a camera card, like my little Canon Sure Shot!

Ibrahim Please dont mind me syaing this but it seems like your testing US on this One.

I know for sure that you are not getting this dog and for Starting a breeding program in your country....NO WAY. We have learned a lot from you about Toplines and Croups Sets in detail very recently. You know which thread I'm talking about.... The dog is Extreamly angulated in the rear and has an extreamly deep croup. Back does not seem firm and the topline is giving a rouch image. Yes, in my knowledge this in not a slight Arch but a rouch. The dog is better angulated in the front although... Good upper arm angle, little lenght could help more - high withers - stands straight in the front - good chest proportions and good pasterns (angel).  Head is also balanced - nothing overdone - Correct Ears and placement - Eyes could be a shade darker - Overall Dry and Firm. The dog is on the Leaner side, good for ethleticism and endurance like a gsd should be. But again I dont understand why you would choose this dog for a breeding program - Why You Mr. Ibrahim -  If it was me or one of the other Newbies it would have been understandable....lol. Looking at his rear Im sure the dog goes very close behind if not knitting while going away.

You can disregard the above comments - This is just a kindergarten boy @ Gsd School.
