Lets start with these videos.  Young sport dog.  What I consider to be a regio

nal level dog.  That means he can go compete at the regional level, but he's not going to win at that level.  Multiple handlers, none of which are his regular handler to show the strength and weakness of the dog.  Also show where he has to go into control and back out of it when a handler gets tangled in the line.

Other stuff going on in these videos.  I'll let you see what you see and bring them up.

Okay, please remember I'm really new at protection.

I see a young dog, who is not very confident and not comfortable at being tied. His bark is high-pitched and anxious, and he moves sideways away from the helper a couple of times as he appraches. The helper is challenging him by pressing into him, and pushing him into defence.

Need to go back and see if there's anything more I can pick up on...

Okay, dog puts paws on helper's chest, and helper allows himself to be pushed back. This is to increase the dog's confidence, and let him know he has some power over the helper.

When the dog is allowed to bite the sleeve, he fights for it and growls, but is also whining a bit, and is clearly stressed.

Really Sunsilver?  I personally find your use of the word retards offensive and lacking in any sense.

On another recent thread you stated;

"Respect shown to someone will earn you respect in return"

If you really want things to change, you might consider starting with your own attitude, just a thought.

Have a good night.
