drago's influence has spread beyond his adopted country, i know he/his pups got the looks and the drive, but have they got the Angry ?

Drago Patriot ? Time will tell on that I would think alot of it depends on how hard, tuff the females he is matched up with.

by vk4gsd on 18 October 2014 - 06:10

yes that drago.

time will tell WTF?????

folks just here on the pdb have at least 18mo progeny and there is no shortage of them, can we assume there was at least one good female he was bred to that a pup went to at least one good handler, is that too muuch to expect given the amount of bandwidth the dog has got?

the dog looks great, the pups generally look great, the dog works, the puppies seem to work for pups/youngsters....so now?

only asking cos as i said in the OP, his progeny are emerging on foriegn shores, i want to give them a closer look through how the 18 month and older dogs are coming along, i kind of ignore dogs any younger than that.

One of his pups won the Mid-Central Regionals, and I believe there were 2 more that competed and did well there as well. Unfortunately my lovely schedule prevented me from going to see it. :( But I've heard good things about it.

vk4gsd it sounds like your wanting to see vids or hear about how much grit or how tuff some of them are, that is a very good question to ask and I,m sure some of the females he was used with were very diff from each other and some are harder than others but thats how it is with any pairing of any male, wish I could give you an example myself but I cant. But some of the vids I have seen of them have very nice working attitudes (nice drives) but their owners would know more than anyone just how tough they truely are.I do know that there are a fair amount of them still under 18 months of age and with Drago being gone from Europe now it only makes sence he will miss some breedings of some quality females in Europe if nothing more than the far distance, not sure how many breeders are wanting or willing to have semen shipped. Hopefully you will get some reports by some of the older ones that people have.

It's my understand that Drago goes back to Europe a few times a year...This might be part of the contract by which he was sold...

I do know that semen is being sent all over the world...He is a much used "stud"...

Nice high quality vid to watch Joanro, I Iiked her far slow motion leaps and she showed very good control, she listened to her handler very well I thought

I though so, too, bundishep. Seems everyone only focuses on the sons of Drago. This is the first daughter I've seen.
