Did Sheila paracute into Ohio last year with her kennel??  If she has been a trainer and ran a kennel for many years in Ohio she has a track record.  Where are all those happy customers or folks who have been lied to and cheated??  If my dogs are well cared for and are humanely trained with their destination being a good home with good people I am happy.  I knew that my dogs were not coming back after I gave them to Dogs4Warriors and all I asked was if they did not make the grade that Sheila would find them good homes.  I have not as yet heard a single person say that Sheila is not a good trainer or that she does not care for and treat her dogs well but I will be very concerned when I hear that said.

Bubbabooboo......I don't think the OP is questioning whether she is a good trainer, whether her own personal kennel has a good reputation or what not. He is questioning the fact that he donated a pup to Dogs 4 Warriors where it was to be used as a service dog, if the dog did not turn out it was to be returned, and then he finds out the dog was sold to a police department the moment it arrived. The set of circumstances is completely different than the pups you donated. You have stated that if your pups didn't turn out for service work that you just wanted her to find good homes for them, that is a completely different agreement that you had versus what has happened with the OP's pup.

Lets now forget that she lied to the Police and told them that Dix was a Czech Import. They received nothing. No health certs. Nothing and have been trying to get them. Atleast they know why now. If she released them with her theyd know she wasnt a Czech import.

Im glad your happy and trust her. Thats fine. Im just warning others of what has happened to me. She sold a free dog and lied to the department that purchased her.

hypothetical question - If you found out that she sold your dogs....lets say $10,000 each to SAR or PPD, whatever and made 60K on your dogs...would you still be OK w/ that?

I would NEVER place any of my dogs or puppies and not have an agreement I WANT THEM BACK if it didn't work out for the PURPOSE I donated them. I would NEVER tell anyone to just find a home for them if they can't keep them. That is what MOST responsible breeders do. They always take their puppies and dogs back so they can be sure of where their pups/dogs are.

Hutchins, Bubba´s case was special, he had no chance.
The result of this special case ( Dix ) : Don´t believe in organizations, don´t believe in words, always ask for a written contract, even if the dog in question is a "donation" - just in case...
I feel sorry for Donald, sounds like he was cheated.

I will be fine with whatever Dogs4Warriors does with my dogs so long as the dogs are well treated and cared for and end up in good homes.  I sent Sheila some high drive and/or green dogs so if she makes them into great dogs through training for a specialty I am happy for the dog and she deserves the credit.

BBBB ;Now I see why you always see the ''fuzzy'' end of the lolly-pop. You can not tell when you are being suckered and learn everything the hard way. I think that if they started off by fibbing to you, I would feel just great when they tell me the dogs are safe and loved.
