Hey bubbaa. What's this about There are some folks who don't like Donald Harris and how he does business. Maybe you should say who these people are? People don't like how I do business. Really? Or is that something your making up right now to get others on your side. Now I have a problem with you. I never once said anything bad about you in this thread. Maybe I have a problem with the fact that you dumped your dog's and now don't seem to give a shit where they are. You got your blinders on because you don't care! You got your money from breeding and then said oh I'm sick and dumped them. They would have been better off at the pound than sheilas care. I was told my dog Axl looked like shit and was very skinny and sick looking. I was told this by several people who saw him. As to the way I do business maybe you should ask around before you try and tarnish my reputation. Did you know I sent a puppy to a family who didn't like it and they returned it on a plane 5 days later and I refunded there entire purchase price. My guarantee says nothing about cash refunds. In fact it says you'll get a replacement dog in one year. Why don't you post about the people who don't like how I do business. Right now all your doing is starting rumors. Post your proof and get off your ass and get your dog's from Sheila.

Let's take a poll so if I did something wrong I can make sure I correct myself. I actually pride myslef on my honesty. Talking crap behind someone's back is what cowards do. If you don't like the way I do business's then let me know. Bubba is trying to start rumors. Show proof to what I do that's not good business. I want to see it. And this isn't over between us Bubba. The slezak have had veterans threaten to kill me and dispose of my body and have this grizzly guy threaten to beat me up. And yes I have screen shots of these messages and I have screen shots of the black messages after grizzly sheilas friend deleted them off facebook after we notified the police department.

As to getting a receipt for your donations. Good luck with that. There's a reason she won't give receipts. I actually have proof that they wernt a official 501 c 3 charity when they were claiming to be. The president of the company is so smart she posted on facebook on a law firms page saying they were helping them get it. Then when they were official she went back and said on this date thanks to yall we are now a 501 c 3. I also have screen shots of this.

Donald, Did you file te charity complaint with the DA or the state Atty General? Generally the AGs have oversight of charitable organizations and can be an extra resource if the complaint was filed with the local District Attorney. Also I would check to see if Ohio has state police ( not highway patrol - they tend to be limited in jurisdiction) or a sheriff's department system. Often there are overlapping layers of law enforcement and if one bureau is lacking in will to prosecute sometimes another  branch will step in - especially if there is a bit of competition between services or bosses. Again the state Atty General should have the ability to enforce the law if the locals refuse to. As to it being a civil matter ( both contract and tort) say yes it is but it also a crime and quote them chapter and verse of the law.

Consider contacting one of the tv stations that have investigatory reporters or go for a big city newspaper - Cleveland's Plain Dealer has a good rep I think - http://www.usnpl.com/ohnews.php . Angle fraudulent charity scams police who refuse to prosecute. Can't think a good newsman wouldn't like that BUT the sad reality is that there are few true newsman left these days.

Check to see if any Ohio universities have journalism schools - you might be able to get a professor and his students interested.

Good luck.

PS sent you a PM

BBBB, Tch tch did I touch a nerve? I certainly hope so for the sake of your poor dogs.

Great flaming balls of fire, man what is it you don't get or is it as Donald said you made your $ off the dogs so now good riddance. Based on the evidence posted here this person a. lied to the police and  b. commited fraud and stole from them. Given the balls it takes to do that why would you possibly think she would not lie to you, Donald,CR or any other person in the world. For all you know she has sold your dogs to a testing lab for experimentation (yes they still exist). Will they be fed and watered - yes and to some people that means they are being taken care of. Not saying she did this, just saying she easily could have SINCE YOU HAVE NO REAL PROOF WHERE YOUR DOGS ARE OR WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THEM!

BTW think before you go casting aspersions on folks knowledge. As a matter of fact I do have quite a bit of knowledge on the law and the history of legal systems but since you do not know me you have no way to know that. If you had  bothered to read the links that I provided  you would realize how nonsensical your answer is and sounds.

So once more since you obviously did not get it the first time. We have a bifurcated judicial system. A single act can have consequences in both. It can be a crime - murder, robbery, theft where the perp when convicted pays in time - his/her body in prison or it can be a civil matter - contract and/or tort where the court can order a number of remedies including specific enforcement, restitution and or monetary damages. Think about OJ - unfortunately couldn't get him on the criminal side tho I have no doubt he was guilty but they did get a civil judgement against him. See - a single act CAN  be both a crime and a civil matter AND one can be held liable in both. A tort by the way is not a torte (cake) but rather a wrong or injury to another person.

Theft by deception has an old legal history being found in old English common law which is the basis for the majority of the laws in our states excepting CA, Louisiana and some southwestern states which were influenced by Spanish and French legal systems. You probably won't bother to read these links either but here are some links that explain some of the concepts here in a fairly simplistic manner. The first one also reiterates for you from someone else the concept of dual responsibility under criminal laws and civil jurisdiction.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fraud

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_pretenses -

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deception_(criminal_law)

http://stclguns.homestead.com/silverbullets4.html/property-crimes/  interesting discussion talking about the historical basis and delineation of different kinds of larceny

These should get you started but if you want more just google "english common law theft by deception". Interestingly #6 on the google list was this -

http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/2913  THEFT and FRAUD OHIO REVISED CODE. Enough said.

Here you go..if you can get arrested for this then Sheila should also be locked up. I brought this up to her local police department and they said we have different laws. Her ties to the PD are the only reason she hasn't had charges brought on her. Tig is correct. Was she did is called theft by deception. Atleast that's what our attorney called it.

Donald, May I suggest you post a complaint on the Rip Off Report making sure to include Sheila's full name and that of each of her businesses and any abbreviations they may be known by such as D4WW. In a google search ROR will come up much faster than a PDB thread.

Also if you are successful in getting her charged and/or you file suit against her - send out a press release. Have your atty check it but if you stick to the proveable facts you should be ok. There are web sites who for a small fee will send a PR to every media outlet in Ohio and if you are lucky and it's a slow news day you just might peak someone's interest. I would also send it to all law enforcement agencies, VFW and American Legion posts, any military installations esp any that may deal with wounded veterans and VA hospitals. She is linked to a FB page Police Blotter. Post it there. Go to google and enter police dog vendors Ohio and send one to each of her competitors. Let me tell you they will keep it in their back pocket for the next time they are competing for a contract with her. Send a copy to ADI Assistance Dogs International which is an industry organization so they have that info if she tries to apply to be a member.

I presume this is your girl. http://www.wtov9.com/news/features/top-stories/stories/new-k9-arrives-barnesville-5282.shtml Have you contacted the merchants who gave the money to buy the dog? I bet you they would put pressure on the police to charge her. Send the PR to her local BBB. Find out if there are any bulletin boards or forums the veterans with dogs hang out in. Post it there and reference back to this thread.

Keep in mind the old dragnet saying - just the facts, maam - just the facts.
