Tim posted an add on PDB few weeks ago stating that he is selling puppies.I contacted Tim and he tald me that he has six female puppies available for sale,so i reserved three of them.We agreed on the price,i made all preperation in my kennel for new arrivals. He ask me to send deposit, when i asked him to send me all information where the money wire to like bank acc,he stoped responding to my emails. Finally when i tald him i will post this on PDB and let other buyers know what kind of person he is.He finally responded, and said that the puppies are very high quality, and he can sell them in Germany for more money, and is impossible to send me 3 puppies and he can send me only 2 puppies. When i tald him we had a deal, and i even offered him more money for the puppies he refused and called me ''stupid''.Anyone dealing with Tim be carefull he is very unreliable, untrustworthy, and arrogant person. He does not keep his promisses and he will jerk you around .I hope nobody will do any business with Tim.

Unless you had a written contract or he accepted a deposit. You didn't have an agreement and the breeder has a right to change his mind and sell you two dogs or NO dogs.

Dobermannman, did you ever buy puppies from Germany. They don't sign any contracts,or give you any guarantee with the puppies, you are buyimg as is.No health,no hips,no bite,no temperament etc.guarantee.You taking shot in the dark. They don't operate like in USA where you sign contrackt for everything you buy including puppies.I have emails from Tim in which he is assuring me that the puppies are mine, asking for deposit, asking when to ship the puppies,i think this is more then simple piece of paper you call ''contract'',even if you sign contract what you going to do if they screw you.Go to Germany to recover your money ,get real.I know few people who sign contracts and guess what, they never recover the money.Beside another person from USA contacted me reading my comment, and he said that he was treated in very similar way by Tim,and he said he will never buy puppies from Tim.I think Tim is playing game called '' Bidding War'' who pay more.

I don't care how they do it in Germany.  Here in the US unless you have a contract or accept a depoist  the seller or buyer has a right to change their mind and back away from the deal    I would NEVER sell more then one puppy to any single buyer.

Love the hearsay, please stick to the facts you have personal experience with. I am with Thomas on this unless you sent a deposit there is no harm, no foul. 100s of buyers change their minds so should we all go on the net and trash talk their names?

The only thing as a good breeder has is its happy customers, if u as a breeder can't hold your word to a customer then your business and kennels is wack! And in my opinion if u knew puppies wr a good litter y u promise a customer a good deal to begin with

jerzy, I can understand your disappointment, but it's also possible that the breeder just had a change of heart about selling them to someone in the US, since it's less likely they'd be shown and trained the way they would be in Germany in the hands of most buyers here in the States--if every well-bred puppy from Germany were actually shown, trialed and surveyed here in the US as the persons buying them had planned on doing, we'd have clubs in every other county and it would be much easier for someone to follow through with their plans. Or perhaps it is just as he said--people right there in Germany have offered him a higher price than he was asking for those pups when he told them they were already spoken--but not paid--for. Selling them locally does make it easier on the breeder, as there's no shipping arrangements and airport trips and international health certificates and currency exchange fees and such, so if he can avoid all that AND get more money for them, a large segment of the human population would probably tell you 'sorry, no sale afterall' and take the money from their fellow countrymen.

And I'm not saying that this is what happened, but it's also possible that someone may have said something to the breeder that made him change his mind about specifically selling the pups to you, for reasons I couldn't even really begin to speculate. Maybe someone wanted these pups for themselves, so they made something negative up about you and told it to the breeder. Maybe someone wanted you to buy pups from THEM instead, so they torpedoed your gentleman's agreement with this breeder in hopes that you'll see an ad for their puppies, contact them and buy those to replace these pups. Maybe someone just wanted to talk crap about you to that breeder for their own bizarre reasons---it happens, believe it or not.

Heck, maybe the guy decided he didn't like the tone of your voice on the phone, and changed his mind--people DO things like that, too!

The simple fact is that no money had exchanged hands yet, so you're not out-of-pocket for any fees connected to these particular pups, and while it is nice when a verbal agreement is upheld on both ends, it's only binding if both sides equally believe it to be so...and in this situation, clearly that was not the case. Sorry for your disappointment, but I'm sure you'll eventually find other puppies just as well-bred and of similar breeding from another breeder who then actually completes the sale and sends you the puppies.

I totally agree with ''pnut'',we have good and bad breeders, and those breeders who totally disrespect buyers and play game with them should be posted and let everybody know that the person and his kennel is wack!!!!, if he had buyers line up in Germany like ''hexe'' is speculating, why he put an add on PDB,and played me for 4 weeks. He shoulded tald me Jerzy sorry but i have buyers here and i can't sell them to you,and the case is close we both move on and no hard feelings.i woulded understand that, and i would look for some other puppies. Beside i also breed dogs,i show them and title them. Many times i had better offers for my puppies then i sold them for,but those puppies which were reserved i sold for the price we agreed up on,and never sold to someone else for more money.I have very happy costumers, and that make my life easier. All my dogs come from Germany,i imported many dogs and this is the first time something like this happend.Beside the breeding is not like a ''wow'' mother is just an average female,i have better females in my kennel, but i like the father of the puppies, that was one of the reasons i wanted to buy these puppies because they would fit to my breeding program.Another person from USA contacted me after reading my post and he said he had the same situation with Tim,and was treated the same like i was.hexe how would you feel,if the seller call you ''stupid'' because you asked for what was promissed to you.Did you ever deal with breeder who curse on you?.I might be old fashion guy but,i have principles, and i would never call someone this or that, because my saying is what goes around comes around. What he thinks all Americans are stupid, guy who is only 26 years old,and already arrogant, lier and cheater?
