I like this one, Blitzen should love it! It has a straight back.
Тайфун кусается

Some can really move too, and they show them just like AKC USA style.

Восточно-европейская овчарка Орос овчарка

Picture montage. Does anyone know what the necklas / medals around the dog's neck are for? They look like an award/ Trophy. I like the look.

Thank you , GSDLineage for posting those. The biggest "difference" or more accurately, theme with the Russian dogs is the dead tail look. All one needs do is look at the tail to tell the difference between labels...the Russian dogs all have flat tails, the gsdshave the normal upward curve. Could be a genetic defect causing dead tail in the Russian dogs. And Lineage, vk is expert on all things canine, we should all genuflect in reverence to his hollyness. Rotfl.

I saw a few Russian dogs at Eukanuba, not GSD's. If the GSD show breeders in Russia follow what most of the other breeders in their country do, they trim their dog's underbellies which makes them look like they have more leg than an untrimmed German dog. Also they trim the tail hairs and the "pants". Dead tails are not good to see, often an early indication of  DM.

Yes, I do like a flat topline Teeth Smile.
