Heh Jenni

Not bashing anyone ,the ingredience was on the kennel bags  in Canada where I live.

It was the only reason I stopped feeding the stuff. The food itself is top notch.

So please dont accuse me of B.S.  These kennel bags were white not the gold in black bags that is sold in stores.

So thankyou for your welcome here on the main forum.

I actually thought I was doing everyone here a favor.

  God bless

Please read more carefully, Gouda. That would be more useful than snide remarks or asking God to bless me.

I wrote "The Fromm talk is b.s." Then, I ended the sentence with a period and THEN, I addressed you and went on to point out that your "source" is hardly a source of authority at all, and is merely a pet forum who is doing not much more than guessing and had not done due diligence to find out the real story, and they are doing untold potential harm to a company who does not deserve it, as you and anyone else is when they post things as fact that are far from it.

FIND A RELIABLE SOURCE BEFORE POSTING HARMFUL INFORMATION ABOUT ANYONE OR ANY ENTITY.

I tried Victor with my dogs, and they all lost weight and seemed to be so hungry all the time.  A friend of mine had the same concern with her GSD.  I really wanted it to work as I love the non GMO factor and the ingredient list was topnotch.  I have started adding the Fromm to their food, and so far all the dogs are eating it, so that is always a plus. I need a higher (than 24%) protein level typically for one of my females, but the others are fine with the mid-range #'s.   I appreciate all the insight, but more importantly hard evidence.

Thanks!!

Never had that with Victor and I know quite a few others who feed it sucessfully. Did you feed the grain free? My dog eats like she's on death row, so it's normal for her to always be hungry.Regular Smile

I tried the red bag and the teal bags.  Not the Grain Free versions.  However, my friend tried the Grain free salmon.

I am currently feeding the Victor Ultra Pro 42. I have to order it from eBay or Amazon because they don't sell Victor around here. I have a few non-permanent resident GSDs here right now, so I'm going through a lot more food than normal, so I can't really say yet how it's working since I'm only on my 3rd bag. I CAN say there have been no issues as far as anyone not eating it (yeah, like that would ever happen, lol) or digestive upsets. I love how small the kibbles are because my Chihuahua can eat it,too. I have not noticed any marked weight loss, either, and I was feeding Orijen last time (I frequently cycle through kibbles).

I used to feed totw, fromm and raw. Now I feed raw and Life's Abundance.(LA) totw is getting some bad reviews and lots of negativity about sick dogs from my FB friends. I did not see a problem with fromm but after I found out all of the perks to LA it was a no brainer for me. LA gives breeder discounts; I buy 44lb bags and get every 10th bag free. Plus I am a distributor and make a small profit from the selling of the food. My puppy buyers order it from my website and it is then delivered to their door. La has never had a recall and a small portion of the proceeds go to help animal rescues. They are about to launch another meat based food as well.

I used to tell my puppy buyers to feed raw and totw or fromm and got nothing from the companies other than being a free saleperson to them! Now I can reccomend a great food AND make a small incentive. BTW I do not make it mandatory for my puppy buyers to feed this; I just recommend that they do.

Everybody knows a well fed dog has less vet bills!

Von Ward - May I ask what you pay for a 44 lb bag??

by Von Ward Kennels on 29 January 2015 - 19:01

I pay $66.99 for the 44 pound bags. But I also get the tenth bag free. I just started doing this A month ago and have not received the commission checks yet so being that I'm new at this I'm not exactly sure how much commission I will be making. I'm still learning. But when you buy from them and sign up as a distributor you get commission on what you buy. I need a good dog food for my dogs anyway!

if anyone is interested they can give me a call at 619-987-8923. You can also go to my distributor website at LifesAbundance.com/Von wards
