Gonso vom Wieratal is producing some really awesome pups consistently with super grips, high drives and solid nerves, and with different females too. One of the last Asko sons still around for breeding in the USA, after having produced very well in Germany too.

No one really cares!! Lets all live in s dream world  and be happy about nice drive and great grips. Why should we really want to know who is the best producer or who is the most successful breeder in the US. We live in a free country and everyone can think , say, breed and do what they want.

lets all buy the out sorted shit from Europe and hope of the next big thing. Some people live in the dream and other people dream about that life.

i wonder that people constantly try to figure out who is the best producer. Best producer in what?

drive? How do you proof drive? Because someone say the dog have high drive means the dog reallllly have high drive!! Right?

Lets first train a dog and let them achieve things before we talk about what they have.

Drives are easy to find. It's all about nerves, thresholds and health.

Ok, so your good drive and nerves are the same like my good drives and nerves. I am pretty sure if you put 20 different greens out there 20 different people have a different opinion what the real green is.

it is like drinking coffee , darker, lighter, sweetner, sugar , milk or what ever.eveyone likes it different.

I have one question why a lot of people today went a high prey drive GSD ?

What I see in many GSD today with high prey drives is lacking natural guarding, agression, strong nerves

defence, fight etc.......

easy black malinois, many people today cant recognize or work anything else than high prey, full calm grip and think it equals  courage and strenght

sport trainers need food and prey drive for trainability and points

Easier to train for those IPO points Black Malinois.

I understand Duke/ Hired Dog  but I like to see a complete GSD  my goal is not the IPO points

but police and military they need more properties than  high prey drives

I agree as well Black Malinois, I am not interested in sport either as I actually work with my dog, but, people like you, Duke and I are an anomally anymore. Most people want to own an easy to handle dog they can train in some sport, be it a biting one or not and have a pet that is easy to live with, hence, breeders will accomodate those people first as they are the majority of their clients.
