'What I see in many GSD today with high prey drives is lacking natural guarding, agression, strong nerves, defense, fight'

Blackml, that's because those qualities are not consistent with politically correct dogs of today...that isnt how a proper golden retriever acts. Also, those qualities are not needed on the sport field. I should have specified; IPO sport field.

How comforting to see that workingline people don't agree on dogs anymore than showline people do.

ramgsd understood the question very well, some others went very off topic and seemed to care less about what the topic was,Drago was left out because I would think most breeders have formed an opinion on him by now wether they like or dislike what he is producing, the other two males I,ve heard come up are Bomber and Gonso, the Gonso male I would like to hear more on from thoses that know about him and how consistant he is producing, some males are better than others in how they are capible of reproducing themselves these are the males I,m interested in hearing about, thoses that see little to no value in prey drive as part of a dogs makeup should start their own thread if thats what they want to talk about. Thanks to all the posts that want to be positive, not bash, and stay on topic.

High drive offspring in USA..... excluding Drago..... I'm assuming you're excluding Bomber, too?

What about Chuck? Belschik Tannenturm? Fyke Leefdalhof? Gucci Esblokhof? Tyson Eqidius? Quardes? Hudson von der kalten Hart? Wasko Eifelgrund? There are a lot of nice studs over here. There's a Fyke son in our club, tons of drive. Have seen numerous Hudson offspring, tons of aggression and drive, as well as from Wasko offspring. Would like to see what Natan Milvel produces. Really like this male.
