Isnt pointing a gun at someone a case of assault with a deadly weapon, and a felony? Did your lawyer say it was okay to talk about the case in public?

You go, Cookie, showing sport dogs can be real too!

Jeebers, kitkat, if it wasn't for the fact that she was born before that recent series 'Empire' premiered, I'd have thought that you might have named her after the female lead character, who's tough, attractive, a survivor, fiercely maternal and very protective of those she loves -- could call both that show's Cookie and yours "Timex", 'cause they "take a lickin' & keep on tickin' ", as the ads used to say!

Glad you're OK, glad Cookie's OK [you did get the vet to check her out, right?], glad the dirtbag is gone from your house, too bad your niece hasn't grown up enough to have the good sense to recognize a dirtbag and run the other way [sometimes it does take folks a while to acquire that self-preservation skill]. Glad that all your dogs did their job in keeping the guy from getting hold of you--I'm with you re without them there then, you probably wouldn't still be here now. It's a freakin' miracle that Cookie came away from that without any broken bones or internal injuries.

Guess it goes w/o saying that the dirtbag hasn't got a penny to his name...but you still can sue him for the damages he caused to both the house and the car.

Not a bit surprised the PD wants to be sure they're on your list for future Cookie babies, either. Wink Smile

I always be bragging that my dogs will protect me ,but I got to say, Cookie, aka Ember V Spitzenhund, went above and beyond the call of duty.

Of course she did not know what that gun could have done to us, but she got run right over. Thank God for the snow. She was up and on her feet, stznding with me after the dirtbag rammed me down the drivewzy in my car, than put the gun in my face the second time yelling, I TOLD YOU NOT TO F' WITH ME.

My God, she must have sensed my terror. This really was an ordeal. Scared the shit out of me, to say the least.

The troopers were amazed that she was checking everyone and every car out, with tire tread marks across her body. (And yes, I did offer a Cookie pup, free, to the Statd Troopers)(I WILL be taking Parrish up on his offer).

You really can t anticipate a situation like this, but let me say this...it was not good! It is nice to know my dogs got my back. I live alone....well...not really alone...lol

I don t watch Empire hexe. I do know who Cookie is tho. I loved her in person of interest. The two Cookies are bold blzck gals...lol I love my black Bomber girl

She is "The Bomb" and yes I waited a long time for her. Parrish really came through with the perfect dog for me.

I think the bold, bravery is a wonderful thing. The protection is built in...bred in. No sch title can even come close to the demonstration of love and protection this dog has. She truly would have died for me.

I think she got the full grasp of the terror I felt.

There is no reason I cannot talk about the incident. Facts are facts, nothing hidden or surprise of what he did.

The District Attorney says he going to order restitution. ..i am going to take him to small claims court. I will have to fix my car myself and HOPE i ever get a dime.

Is 'Stand your Ground' law applicable where you live? If it is, I'd get a concealed permit and be prepared to undo his threats.

Her temperament is reflective of the standard and legacy of the breed. Good for her, and her breeder has every right to be proud.

If the dog has tyre marks, internal injuries are a possibility.

I was thinking the same thing. If she was run over with tire marks on her body, I hope there are no internal injuries.
