I'd be more than happy to blame Bush for anything and everything negative that has happened in this country for the last 6 years. The man is an embarassment to the USA.

I meant to include anyone brave enough to call a spade a spade.

Sorry Guys, I am no Bushie, but it serves no purpose to pretend that he caused anything that you do not like. You merely discredit yourselves. Bush has an ample legacy of problems, but the economy is not one of them. We have enjoyed a rather strong economy for the last 6 years in spite of considerable adversity primarily because Bush kept at the tax cuts rather than raising taxes as the "liberals" would like. I should also remind you that the major difference between Bush and Hillary is her propensity to spew liberal jargon whenever the cameras are rolling. There is very little difference in policy. Do not believe the lies that politicians tell you. They are all caught in a perpetual job interview for a boss who lacks the attention span to hold them responsible for their lies and treason. Think for yourselves and check ALL statements. People are only too willing to believe that the other team is to blame. Best Wishes, Jonah

I think I'm going to pass on saying anything more about the Bush regime.

The market has indeed cooled. I still have pups at 3-5 and 4 mos. old, but then I am just now re-inventing my dog business after a long (7 yr.) hiatus, and with a new kennel name (My new hubby didn't like my maiden name as kennel name... why I don't know.) I cannot blame Bush for the market trend for GSD's. Still, I have every confidence that when people see my puppies out on the training fields and in the show ring my business will improve. There are a lot of people who don't know what they;re doing breeding "junk" out there, with better marketing skills and more capital behind them than good sense of the bred. IME most of them use dog breeding as a tax write-off against other earned income for about three years. Then, when the IRS starts asking questions, they fold up and disapprear, go into something else, etc. In the meantime they make it very hard for the rest of us, plodding along, doing our own websites, print-layout/design, doing without things for ourselves in deference to the dogs... driving 10 yr. old Aerostars with 135K miles on them instead of new Cadillac Escalades with matching custom made dog trailers...LOL Renting nicer vehicles to go to major events because they don't trust the old van more than 100 miles from home and mechanic. I plan to vote for Gulliani if he gets the nominaton. I couldn't vote for Hillary if you held a gun to my head. I just don't like the bitch. LOL Besides, she'd probably want me to buy some horrible little fuel efficient vehicle with my dogs crammed in the back seat or something, ;) while SHE rides in a luxurious 60' BUS CONVERSION, when I really want a motorhome! Ha ha ha ha ha, SS

We were begining to go into a reccession when 9/11 hit. Because this could have laid us out flat, they pumped the economy. Flooded dollars into the market, way to many crazy loans and money to cheap. They let this go on to long and now we are going to pay the piper. They first took out the froth by stopping the flippers in the Real Estate Market, Now with the sub-prime they will take out people who need to borrow will not be able to, along with business. The credit crunch will hurt. They can not blow up the economy at a fast pase this has to be done slowly and uniformally, to many banks will go under, carrying to much bad paper. It will be interesting to see who is left holding that bag. Subprime loans offered a good return on your money, the Saudis are holding alot of that paper. Just like Japan got slaughtered in the 90's, when the last Real Estate bubble, they were invested heavily in U.S. Real Estate. It is so far out of control, this is going to be long and hard. As a result, this is breaking my heart, you are gong to see alot of good dogs in the pound. So, for the love of the breed, do not have a litter unless it is pre sold or you can afford to keep them all.
