My internet is basic time warner, no frills LOL I'm not sure why its so slow either. The editor took like a minute to load. My other websites are same as usual.

lol, the editor is the same editor as the old site. So, it should take you as long to open the old sites thread pages.  Try to go here and see what happens when you read a thread - does the editor have a slow load time?  http://old.pedigreedatabase.com

I have 5 gig speed split between 3 to 5 computers/devices. So, it is slow compared to a lot of peoples.

Yeah the editor is the same,. http://ckeditor.com/

I decided to not automatically load it since it's HUGE, or about 500kb which is a lot for small devices or 3G connections. Since doing the change, I find that I only need to enable it in 1 in 10 times. Normally I am just writing text like now and I do not need to enable the editor.

Of course the biggest slowdown is the ads. Unfortunately the site needs them to pay bills. The new site is lightning fast without them. (Go and edit a dog and see how the edit page loads, cannot have ads on pages only open for logged in users).

Perhaps people will be interested in buying an ad-free experience? 9.9$ for 6 months.

I only use a laptop and don't have any issues so far using the new format. I am not a computer nerd, so if I can do it, anyone can do it.

I have a desktop at the end of the long, long dsl line and it is WAY-WAY faster.  The initial 'look' is pretty different, extra large print (I guess it is for the people with tiny phone screens?) but otherwise it look like it all works the same and if getting rid of fluff speeds things up then I'm all for it.  Thanks!

Western Rider

I am using an Android phone and low end tablet and they are very fast using Verizon connection. Have a Desktop that is using a local connection most of the time or Verizon much faster than before.

No real problems just a few glitches that everyone else is mentioning but those will take a little time.

I thought that the larger print was for those of us who don't want to wear glasses. I don't have to set the type at 125 anymore. LOL

Pedigrees have to basically be exact with capital letters in the name. I typed in a dog, got three pages of choices, then typed in the two caps in the name, the correct pedigree came up. That's a problem if one is not familiar with exactly how a dog's name is entered in the database.
