Mithuna

I am very pleased with TEFCO Performance Dog Raw. My female is moving towards eating her 100th pound of it ( the formula ), but we are keeping her at 70 lbs body weight for now. Her musculature has become hard and solid ( nothing sags or shimmer under the coat as she moves ) , and most of all her poop is 1 time ( odorless ) per day compared to her 5-6 times per day when she was on kibble ( which she suddenly stopped liking ...possibly cuz had started to mix it with raw chicken breast/quarters ). Shes full of energy ( always ready to play as soon as I stand ), and has grown very strong. I understand Tefco has been selling raw more than 40 years, and they are always reading to give you references of their clients.
Thanks to Robert Rodriguez of RawK9 food for introducing me to this brand ( and 10 away mins from my house ). Robert distributes Tefco product at the manufacturer's price.

Nan
They have a bunch of other products: green tripe, green tripe patties, organ meats, muscle meats, heart, meaty bones, neck bones, etc but I use their formula called Performance Dog. If you want meat / bones only in ground format there is another NY company in Hunting Station Station.
Nan if you are credible in your GSD /Dog community( not the specific you ) , TEFCO is open to bringing new distributors on board .

Mithuna, are you not worried about feeding something unbalanced to a still-growing dog?

Petmart doesn't sell Victor here, perhaps the farm supply might, why is Iams not liked ? Too much grain ? the 6 fish sounds crazy price 90 per bag ? what is the highest quality food for a fair price,it looks like AKC is promoting Royal Canin.

I used Victor for well over a year. Weight was the issue other than older dogs and that seemed to be the complaint from others that I talked to. Could not keep weight on and I am not talking about dogs out 24/7 being worked often.

Thanks 1GSD1 what food did you change to?? Always curious what works for some dogs, not others. So Victor would work for a older dog or less active GSD possibly; not for hard working GSD dogs, or someone that burns it off as they eat it. Thx for sharing. Nan
