Lol. Didn't watch the video, takes too long long to download.
Had a green dog on the back tie, decoy came in to give a bite on the arm. Instead of the obvious presented arm, my dog grabbed his leg and pulled him down and was dragging the guy into his circle. All the while the decoy, who rolled to his stomache, had his arms outstretched, fingers digging into the ground for purchase. I like a dog that is an opportunist and gets the advantage in a 'fight'. :-)

Your dog is lucky to have you.:-)

Explain to me what the heck is going on here and what is the future goal for this dog.

It´s just "training".
This kind of bitework is trained by police, by PP handlers, by military, by KNPV, by Ringsport, and by people who want to have fun with their dog.

Vk, you are able to better the "first" bite of your dog by using a wet leather or a piece of pipe tightly coated with hessian (?) - but you need to train this "on leash" for a while - and you your helper needs to be fast ( grip or loose ).

Lol @ Susie, "it is just training", made me laugh that it needed explaining, I wonder what some people even do with their dogs if they don't know what training is.

Well, vk, here's the thing...I'm just not as smart as you when it comes to dogs so when I see a dog looking like it's bat shit crazy and out of controI I will ask for an explanation which Susie gave me. Notice I did not ask you.

How long have you been around gsd's??

by Blitzen on 02 August 2015 - 20:08

Since 1969. What about you? I always get the impression that  your dog makes all the decisions instead of you and that he may not be safe around the public.

I would agree with blitzen in this matter. In not one video has you dog showed control he missed bites he does not waite no control. What makes a good dog is control under persure sit and waite use his head . I don't think vk has done any work in that area .The dog as iv said has a lot of thing going for it but seems handler is happy with what he has. Not for me and I love real dogs but with real control

Yeah right yogi those one minute clips are the totality of my training. The dog only gets out of it kennel for the 1 minute or so you see on these clips, helps build "batshit crazy".
