I´m just sick of all this nonsense...
While looking for a female for a friend right now I found a beautiful German bitch out of alternative very interesting bloodlines. MATCH!
After researching I found out the bitch was bred 3 times, but only had puppies once...
Problems maybe? Should be mentioned... Honesty? I´m tired...

Yes its true Susie lucky Europe has   the US for export all that "trash  and crap "  dogs.

But there are also many good dogs - bloodlines  gone already out of europe

Blackmal, not only 'trash and crap dogs' get to USA, but also excellent females who need to be sold by greedy kennel owners before the monetary value is diminished....like squeezing every last dollar out of the dogs no matter what for the dogs life.

That seems pretty harsh on what comes to America out of Europe not everything is trash and crap. ,I agree with Joanro some excellent well bred females have made it here also and in case really nice well bred females make it out of Europe I,m all for it.

the AKC wants your money so there are no "rules" nor standards

by Blitzen on 09 September 2015 - 22:09

AKC is a dog registry for literally hundreds of breeds, not a policing agency for one single breed as is the SV et al.

AKC does put on age limits for breeding but yes they do want money , pups are now 30 not 20 to register and why is so much charged for a change of ownership name that doesnt make since.

by Blitzen on 09 September 2015 - 23:09

Of course AKC is now set up for profit. They no longer have dog people administering their organization, instead bean counters.  Actually I am happy that they pretty much leave dog breeders to their own descretion. Would any of you really want the AKC telling you which dogs you should or should not breed? How would that work? No thank you.
