these same guys seem to have more mals than GSD anyway on the rest of their clips.

Strong dogs genetically (dominant, confident, sovereign), if built up gradually and intelligently, will demonstrate aggression (fight drive?) when threatened in any drive.
Weak dogs genetically (low threat threshold, weak nerves, etc), even if built up carefully, will show a low defense threshold (fear response) when facing the same threat as the dog above.
Some of the weaker dogs that look good in defense drive when on a leash or tied back will most likely seek avoidance under pressure if free to do so.

now it is very well possible that this same dog can take good pressure when in prey and on the bite,, same as the white house dog, but untrained situation made them show true colours
Koach, we are not talking about weak dogs in defence but strong dogs with defence, that makes or breaks the deal

you try to attack bolle Ja Na Ka, winner of bundessieger twice, without sleeve/prey, he will eat your ass

Wanna see Bolle working in real defense would be nice , this dog is also trained high prey driven
as most of them. real defense work is a rare find today.

Wow, after you read through all of what Duke, Gustav and the others wrote on defense/prey/fight, the above is what you come back with ? Yikes !

"horrible video, looks like poor training setting a dog up to fail for the purpose of promoting business via video"
No, that's your, "prey monster with drive, courage and enough defence and let the folks with concerned for the boogie man defensive dogs sit and watch on the side-line while my boy finds, runs down and smashes the decoy into the ground every time without fail the rougher the better," taken out of his element.

Absolutely correct Duke.
Chances are all that training will go out the window if/when the dog is seriously up against it.
What you can do is condition a dog who is made of the right stuff to engage civilly, incrementally increasing pressure/stress by degree.
VK4 poor sod, thinks that having a dog uncontrollably dragging him around his yard in haste to bite his favorite toy, (fat suit) constitutes courage, with some defense thrown in - hilarious.
He is blissfully unaware that - you could put that fat suit on the ground without any one in it, and his dog would still rag it.
Duke you also were correct in saying "VK4 - you are ignorant"
I will add - dangerously so, lol.
Regards
Gee
