Ulk was less dog ( 33 kg )  , way shorter and with steeper/shorter upperarm.

Ulk would look like the "little brother" ...

I may be picky, but I expect from a dog that is owned and trained by profs that this dog does show a more than average bitework on the siegershow - otherwise I wouldn´t breed to this dog - and I wouldn´t buy a pup out of this dog.

I´m not talking about "flying dogs" or T4 dogs - shit happens, but I want to see consistency about the years.

All of these dogs look good, but they are still WORKING DOGS, and I want to see the will to work.

I'm not going to get explicit about each dog. I'm just looking at the overall impression I get from each photo not taking into account bitework - phenotype only. Therefore, for me, the most appealing and correct dog is Djambo. He looks athletic as if he could tend a flock 24/7 or scale an A frame or take down the bad guy with less effort than the rest or the pack.  IMO, the others look too overdone and ponderous to be able to do that.

I agree Blitzen that Djambo is real good, what bothers me about him is his body length.
This rating isn't a precise thing as we do not have a scale for points. It is good to see how each of us likes or dislikes a dog and why.
I agree on risco, I don't like him much for same reasons of yours

Blitzen, don´t believe in pictures only.
Djambo was 41 kg at the breed survey, as was Memphis, that´s a lot of dog.

His length of body is one thing I like best about him . I think it would give him a more reaching, unrestricted,  and tireless side gait without wasted motion. Without a movement video, it's hard to tell for sure though. To me Djambo just looks more put together than the rest. Not one of those composite dogs made up of pieces of 3, 4 different dogs.

There used to be a website where one could go to "judge" photos of dogs submitted by their owners.  The photos were placed in a class with dogs of the same breed and responder voted on the placements. A sort of cyber dog show. It was always interesting to read how much the placements varied from one responder to the next and the reasoning behind it all.

Susie, about the small brother thing, isn't there a saying ( small is beautiful ) in English language ?
