Nice looking dog, gigante. It's obvious he is focused on the stranger...shows good genetics. I could tell he was studying something down hill. Am I right, that was winter?
BTW, that was mithuna who posted the pics, not Gigi.

Joan first of all you admit that the dog has a thick coat but at the same time you claim to see muscle tone. Can you describe where on the body the muscle tone is and how it is distributed?

Second: Look at the high resolution of the ground around the dog and in the background as well and you can tell that there was a  substantial amount of light. The green vegetation on the ground suggests winter? With that amount of light  there should be a vitreous reflection from the dogs coat if the dog had one . That the dog is in a pensive mood is a joke. A dog which has a strong emotional bond to the owner is always attentive especially when the owner is near ( as in taking a fairly close up photo ). The dog is looking downwards and the face lack the expression of a dog who is observably bonded to the owner. Look carefully at the dog and see that the gaze falls now more than a few feet in front of him.

Gigante in back woods on some hill in AZ some stanger is trying to sneak up on you as you grab the moment to picture your dog? How deceptive. ( More like to happen in Brooklyn ). The dead tail carriage of the dog and the lack luster looks tells a different story. Again , that dogs gaze is a few feet ahead and the geography of place seem to suggest that the land surface is horizontal for substantially more than a few  feet ahead.

Joan the pic was not meant to demonstrate character but to show a facial expression associated with an animal who is emotionally attuned to her household people, and not some mange ridden dog in a basement.

See an alert dog below: look at the tail...and look at Gigante's dog tail.

Mithuna, after glancing at your post, all I will say is that you have a very, very long way to go. In your world, your description of a dog could be accurate. But, your comment about the dog's bond with the owner and his expression tells all I need to know about your lack of understanding of Canis familiaris. I won't waste my time responding to your nonsense.

Adult dog. The dead tail is an indication of the adult DOG you can stare intently but you dont fully posture with a higher ranking dog or you will be waxed, much leeway for a young pup like hime shown there. You where also employed with Dion and the Psychic friends network as well in the digital photo division, thats crazy two members in this thread alone.

Joan

I have freinds on the WD community who said that sold off dogs who had no emotional interest in them ..and they are experienced breeders.

Darcy

Im making some observations that I can see in a pic. People can learn from many modalities.

Mithuna, I used to own a camel, he couldn't navigate hilly ground covered in pine needles, so I sold him.
