I did not threaten you, I said I'd meet you any day, I've had my backside kicked before steppin up when I should have let it go but it was a fair deal and they left with a few good licks as well. All said and done it settled the squabble. See as a Ranch kid you step up for family, and you step up for what you beleive in, call this my stepping up, I ain't backin down from the likes of a dark ghostly leprechaun who's judgement is obviously out of tune in every post he makes. You look at photos of my dogs and call them crap, How dumb does that make you ?? Your calling my training directors (who by the way were at the olympics and world seiger shows) idiots for judging my dogs Temperaments as excellent, again who the h*ll are you to judge a dog you've never seen in any situation ??? That's just dumb in my OP. At least I don't do what you do, I don't judge peoples dogs by photo alone, I certainly don't pretend to judge a temperament by description alone, and I don't tell anyone who is training a dog, learning a sport, or attempting to further they're knowledge base an idiot or the ruination of the breed. You further prove your ignorance by NOT answering questions put forth to you.

I would love to, I'm on dial up, can't watch them and can't upload them eighther. It's a demographical thing around here. and a pain in the ars LOL. I will first and foremost continue to trust the judgement of the folks who have known and continue to know my dogs, my Training Directors, fellow breeders, fellow sport goers and of course our purchasers who are now considered extended family by us. I could care less what spook thinks, simply because he has no basis for his judgements, just shows how uneducated and nieve he really is. Thanks for the idea though, I had not thought of it actually. I would love to show video of our dogs temperaments, that would be waaaayyy Cool !!! That would shut him the h*ll up real quick.

And as I state to be the case it is nothing but stupidity to claim you all know who are the BYB and who are NOT so be careful with pointing fingers as we say in Denmark clean in front of your own door before you clean others. Poor muddles, you are in deed a paranoid schizophrenic. Try again to read the post or just ignore it I don't care. If you are that worried that the post is pointing at you you may well have a conscience. A guilty conscience, but none the less a conscience.

The quintessential BYB, IMHO, is the lady down the street who owns a horse farm She happens to have a female "GSD", her brother-in-law happens to have a male "GSD". Wouldn't it be fun to have a litter? They are both "nice" dogs, after all. She produced 4 pups - 2 of which were barely recognizable as GSDs (1 was tan all over except for his 4 white leggings!) All of which she sold, BTW, AKC (full)registered pups - $1400 each. How about the gal at work who owns & loves one of the least attractive sables I have ever seen. At 5 months old..."Oh yes, his hips checked out fine...where can we find a female to breed him to?" Ignorant people who love their dogs but don't have a clue (or even try to get one) as to what a GSD SHOULD be. They are not even just after the money, but they sure do produce some very poor examples of the breed, with questionable temperaments that can really give the breed a bad name.

Roberta: You story sounds like something that really happened and not an "example" of a BYB. Is this correct? I find it hard to believe that the two AKC dogs had two of four pups that could not be recognized as German Shepherds and sold for $1400.00 The part I find hard to believe is not that they were from AKC registered dogs (I could see that happening), the part that is hard to believe is that someone paid 1400 for an alledged GSD pup that was tan with "four white leggings". Was this made up?
