You mention you just got her...has she seemed especially stressed since she arrived?

Yes, Hexe raised another point to consider: sometimes 'new' dogs take a while to settle into their homes / miss the old home and are therefore a bit stressed; stress = another reason known to occasionally cause hair loss.
Again, a matter of giving it some time to sort itself. 8 weeks is not a long time. Thank for the ped ref, will take a look and get back to you with anything that suggests to me.

Are you able to post a head picture for us?
There is another Megi Bemiki on the database, born in 2013?
Forgot to ask - did you get her like this or did it start recently?

Re: the thyroid results. What did your vet recommend based on the results?

I got her Monday. Yes there are two in system. Odd I thought as well but the other one is titled and maybe from different country. When I received her the tail was the way it was in picture posted.

Retest in few months. Normal just little low which worries me but we will just have to watch it.

Did your vet run a full thyroid panel? Sometimes they don't want to do that if "normal, but a little low" is the result. You might want to add a kelp supplement to her diet. Kelp supports the thyroid. I like Wholistic Pet Organics Sea Kelp. I get it from Amazon. Just a teaspoon once a day, mixed in the food. It might help support her thyroid. My dog also tested "normal, but a little low" about 2 1/2 years ago; I added the kelp and his later thyroid tests have been back in the better normal range.

Just wondering what your vet thinks is wrong with your dog's tail and fur?

The don't think that the one that you own is named Megi Bemiki (Pinewest). I think her name is Megan Bimiki and a totally different dog. I do not know where the Pinewest came from, but since it was in parenthesis, it is not part of the name, probably the kennel that you bought her from.
There is only one Megi Bimiki. Both dogs (Megi and Megan) are from Serbia. I have corrected the dog that you say is yours based on her sire and dam and DOB and added her registration name and microchip. You can check that to see if it is the same dog, but the DOB and sire/dam match up.

But something is messed up as AKC has the name Megi Bemiki on the dog (your dog) with the DOB May 01 2015 with reg number DN43946101.

I would check with the person who sold you the dog and ask to see the import pedigree, because that sire and that dam definitely had a "M" litter Bemiki.

Sorry, if I confused things. Please check the microchip and see if it matches.
