Yes, they are all still GSD's, just not the prefered colors.

Per the AKC Standard, GSDs with noses not predominantly black are a disqualification. That would make Blues, Livers, and other dilutes disqualified from showing.

I have to step in here. White GERMAN Shepherds are, indeed, GERMAN Shepherds. If what you speak of is in regards to that the Europeans do not consider them as GERMAN Shepherds, you are incorrect. While they are frowned upon (as most strayings from the breed standards or genetic faults should be), they do exist. Some of the foundation dogs from the good ole Captain came from white ancestors and some of teh Captain's first German Shepherds produced white German Shepherds...in Germany, nonetheless. Back in the "olden" days, White German Shepherds were culled from the litter as puppies to help thwart this genetic issue. Various .com (commercial) websites supposedly giving "proper" information about dog breeds rename White German Shepherds with a variety of other names. The layperson reads this and automatically assumes that a White German Shepherds is a (insert new-fangled commercialized name here). These websites, such as dogbreedinfo, should be avoided for such information. They also promote the designer breeds of dogs springing up left and right with absurd breed names and even more ridiculous price tags. Blues and Livers are all genetic faults in German Shepherds. Only commercial breeders trying to make a buck promote/actively breed Blues and Liver German Shepherds (not to be confused with Red/Golden German Shepherds - those without a saddle pattern, but still breed standard markings). These breeders market them as a "rare" German Shepherd or a "rare" color and add an extra zero onto their price tag.

If you think there are no blue Malinois, keep looking. There are plenty out there. All the black points, face, ears, tail are blue. Eyes are yellow or light greyish blue.
