Wood, bone. We're probably talking about the same thing.

by vk4gsd on 11 April 2017 - 02:04

You decide.

Y'all are missing the dog's ball drive...

Dogs have a bone in it; men don't.

[Hadn't thought of that aspect before; always wondered why I find that photo so funny it has pride of place on my living room wall !]

How´s the Go Bone doing? Still alive?
Be careful - I paid a lot of money to remove the part of a ball out of my dogs stomach once...

Many " older folks " who left school before the computer was a standard introduction in college cannot appreciate this. I was recently reading where folks who missed the micro processing technology age are often inimical towards computer technology.
Anyway the device is essentially a robot which contains a a battery, a multi modal motor ,some sensors and a program that has been flashed onto some part of a tiny printed circuit. The robot is capable of doing a range of things. The sensors on board can detect changes in motion and pressure. In this way the robot is able to interact with the animal by sensing changes in motion and pressure and then responding to such changes. Thus when the dog leaves the robot alone the sensors can detect this and after some interval of time the robot will respond. You can also directly control the motion of the robot by using a very simple interface via an app.

Why all the condemnation??

Is that hard wood or soft wood...

by Bevsb on 11 April 2017 - 20:04

Beautiful dog. I hope she enjoys her Go Bone.

by vk4gsd on 11 April 2017 - 20:04

Mith would it help to tell you this is a dog forum not a tech review site. People here get excited "to the bone" about color genetics and croup angles.

Evidently about push button, sensor controlled bones, nobody gives a shit.
