kind of surprised not many folks familiar with robotics. DA vibration is a modality that the motor can pre programmed to exhibit ( but only when the sensor indicate that it should ). The idea is provide as much sensuous variety as is possible to the dog ( color and texture variation for visual andf tactile variety, sound variation for auditory variety , and motion like spin , roll , vibrate, ec ) so that dog is not bored.

I have nothing of value to add, but vk4, you're on a roll and cracking me up.

Mithuna, rather than find ways to avoid truly interacting in a beneficial way with your dog, why not drop the electronics and work on letting her be a real dog doing real dog things (including stabilization and control!), and see if things don't improve on the homefront?
