Just a heads-up here - given TOTW 5 star rating on Dog Food Advisor, this was a shock. Saw a FB post earlier today, and apparently a lawsuit has been filed to high levels of contaminants being found in the food, especially the Salmon- based puppy food!

Links to complaints on Dog Food Advisor:

Link to info on the lawsuit, which lists the contaminants found in the foods:

Personally, after the melamine scandal back in 2007, I would never trust ANYTHING made by Diamond Foods. And I'm not sure if it's happened yet, but Trump wants to remove FDA restrictions on foods, including pet foods! Angry Smile

Sunni, I did not go to the site, but you used Daily Beast that is claiming POTUS is pulling FDA ....don't believe what you read on daily beast...it is a left wing propaganda hack site!

Joan, there are plenty of other links to the same information, plus a video of Trump actually complaining about FDA regulation at a rally. Daily Beast just happened to be the link I chose because it was the only one specifically mentioning pet foods.

Here's another link: https://thehill.com/regulation/healthcare/296152-trump-says-he-would-eliminate-food-safety-regulations

This was during the campaign, I don't know what the situation is currently.

This is going on and there isn’t a recall?
I’m confused.🤪

should be a pretty simple task to test any dog food for arsenic poisoning.

it will be a simple yes/no.

the bad news is, we are all eating pretty much these same ingredients in one form or another.

Just had a brief minute and saw this post. It concerns me because my daughters 6 month old lab eats this exact formula. I suppose I will have to look at the links to determine whether there is an immediate concern to get the puppy something else for dinner tonight 🤔

All that stuff about Trump and FDA and dog food as far as I can tell is Fake and old news (2016)news. A far as I know the bill about FDA was signed and it is about "right to try" (experimental drugs) Nothing about dog food. ( as far as I can find)

It's interesting to see how the complaints of dogs vomiting after eating the food increased dramatically in 2017 and 2018. Most people also noticed a change in the smell and appearance of the food.

Are you blaming President Trump, then?
