Do not purchase dogs from Ted Tarasewicz (tarasewicz). He sold me a female specifically for breeding and guaranteed her hips. This female arrived with a severe limp. Upon spending an enormous amount of time and money at the veterinarian, we discovered this female had hip dysplasia. I had her x-rays examined by the top canine radiologists at OFA to determine the severity. The results confirmed that she has severe hip dysplasia. Ted stated he knew nothing of this and refused to refund the total amount spent, blaming it on the transportation of the female.

Did you even ASK the seller to produce evidence of having her hips x rayed & rated under whichever scheme / body they use in the country of sale ???

Why on earth rely on such a 'guarantee' without proof ? OK this breeder sounds at this moment as if he knows nothing or wants to fleece people, just on the strength of your accusation; but there is such a thing as looking out for your own interests.

Am I missing something...
I don't see mentioned the dog's age or anything about her...
What all was asked of the breeder when inquiring about this female?

I don't know this buyer but sometimes people...usually newer people to Importing dogs...Don't understand everything they should ask...What's important...What all is involved...

So many times What You Don't Ask isn't the Seller's responsibility it's the Buyer's...So please do your homework before going into a deal with someone...

dmans2 has been a PDB member since 2018. He/she may be new to buying from overseas - if that is even the case here - but someone who has had access to this board for a couple of years really ought to have picked up some basic 'dos & donts', no ?

To me...It's very simple...If you don't know something...ASK...

I do understand not everyone is happy in helping new people...I for one can tell you that not everyone is like that...Just keep asking til you find some people that are willing to help...
My belief is EVERYONE starts at Group Zero...They ALL had to learn along the way...and I'll be most of those people have had others that they've learned from...

Now saying that...If you don't heed or learn from what's told you...then that's on you...

This platform...In my mind...is here to help others...So reach out...

obvious "design" breeding when emphasis put onto dog's coat. seems like started in Poland about 10 years ago.
curious who in right mind would need that kind of dogs?
