I am looking for a puppy, I have valued the kennel Opavia Hof and Denbrix. Denbrix has a litter that is born in a few days that I like their lines, but looking for information here I have read some messages from 2012 that some were not happy, that they had been deceived and others were happy ... Can someone tell me what now? I have not been able to edit the previous post, so I have written this one, excuse me

come on tx, are you serious?

I read the first 4 search results on this kennel and you are seriously asking for recommendations?

contact duke, pay the broker fee, get what you want and expect.

also there are good dogs in France, surely you can get there. nothing takes the place of putting your hands between the ears of a companion for the next decade or so.

and nothing can take away the bitter taste of pulling a POS out of the crate because of trying to save a little money.

JMO,
Rik

I'm telling you...In particular...if you're new to buying a good dog whether it be overseas or domestically it's worth getting some help...I mean a broker or to pay someone a small fee and get what you want...
Nothing is worse then to buy a dog overseas (sight unseen) and take the word of someone you don't know and maybe speaks a different language...Then have the dog shipped to you and you're not happy with what you got...
It's certainly worth not only doing your homework and asking around but it's also worth a small fee to have someone help you that knows the breeder and will take the responsibility...

Rik- totally agree! I was fortunate to find a dog here in the US, but wouldn’t hesitate working with Duke. I communicated with him a number of times, even offered him money upfront (deposit). He wouldn’t take any money. Imagine that? So, to me, the combination of his integrity and expertise puts him at the top of the list.

tx- I urge you to heed the advice given. I’ve seen and heard too many horror stories. Good luck!

Hi. Thanks for the help Yes, I read something bad about Denbrix in the forum ... but now I can't find it, I have also asked the opinion of Denbrix dog owners and they tell me they are happy ... I don't know. I contacted Duke more than once and he does not have dogs and does not have litters in the short to medium term.

tx, yea, it looks like you are in a tough situation. no contacts or knowledge of good kennels. I applaud you for the research you are trying to do.

there is a thread around here where people name several Czech kennels they had positive experience with. I can't find it.

most people posting negative experiences usually do so after quite a bit of effort and frustration. I would not ignore them if there are several, regardless of the positives.

I have contacted Dukee and he has recommended some breeders, some of those breeders introduce a lot of sports lines, some of them I like. On the other hand, I have contacted some owners with Robert Pevny Denbrix dogs and they have told me that they have not had any problems, on the other hand, Robert has collaborated and made litters with Jinopo, Jiri I do not think he collaborates with anyone who does the same. bad things ... I do not want to say that Robert is a good breeder or a bad breeder, I just provide some information.

txa, how much experience do you have in dogs, or working type dogs, or picking/choosing puppies or adults?
