As i have said before, my dogs look as good as any i have seen on this site or elsewhere and by feeding a top Kibble
I have never cleaned any of my Dogs teeth in 60 years of keeping them
I have never had to trim the nails of any dog i have ever owned in the same time span
I give them a raw hide Chew or a Marrow bone this keeps the teeth clean, However as i said elsewhere if i buy a Raw produced food which is over here sold by two hundred Kilos at a time, This Complete food as it says is made up of various meats and Offal and it comes in Minced form but it is uncooked and Raw
However here is the crunch COST
To feed ONE Dog for a month it would cost me around 128 USA Dollars, that is out of reach for me, As much as i would like to try it for 6 months just to see. I for one do not think feeding Raw gives a dog a longer life span, No kibble dog of mine has died on me less than 14 years old, Not saying the G.S will live that age but time will tell.
Each to there own and much of the time the Pocket dictates what you feed in most cases

Milly, that's hilarious. As if I have any reason to believe that a) the dogs are as old as you say and b) the dogs ate what you said they do. If I post a pic of Jacqueline Bisset and say it's me, UH, do you believe that? LOL LOL

Jackie, that's why I posted my "grandfather" and his "twin brother". LOL

I look exactly like Angelina Jolie, BTW. I'll post a picture to prove it.

I fed my first litter of pups kibble. Their mother was on kibble until after that first litter. She always had just a bit of dry skin (worse in winter). After switching her to raw, that dry skin mostly disappeared (just not in winter). This litter has been on raw and their mother since I had switched her two years ago. The only significant difference I can actually see, is their ears. The smallest females ears have been up since before she was 4 wks old. The others came up soon after. The only male, just now (8wks) has both up.

They are online too:

I was hoping that by now this thread would have lots of puppy pictures for me to pine over, both raw and kibble fed, not pictures of random kibble-fed dogs for no apparent reason :(

Anywho, here's some pics of my adult dog on kibble in 2009, since apparently we're posting pics of adults now wink

And here's pics of him after being on raw for one year. I tried to find similar poses and lighting conditions for better comparison.

Me and my vet know that he is thriving on raw. That's good enough for me. In the spirit of full disclosure, he did have recurring digestive issues on kibble regardless of brand. He has had no issues with raw and can eat any protein source without issue. I can switch every single day and he doesn't have a problem. He can also eat veggies, fruit and cooked grains with no problem. My collie is also doing better on raw and she never had a problem with kibble: she has a cast iron stomach. I don't really care if people feed kibble vs raw: unless they ask about it, it's not my problem and not my dog.  I don't really understand what posting random pictures of kibble-fed dogs has to do with this thread? I thought people understood the difference between genetic predisposition to health vs the health effects of different diets (regardless of genetic predisposition)...ever watched Supersize Me? laugh

I feed TOTW and all table scraps to my dogs. My father fed Ol Roy to his shep mix PTS at 15 yrs old and his pitty PTS at 17 yrs old, both of old age, both lived outside yr round and never used the shelter he had built for them, they lived in a hole they dug under a tree. I used to feel bad for the pitty in winter and talked him into letting the dog go in the garage on the most freezing of nights but the dog hated it so I shut up about it.
