Mollyandjack, he is fabulous. I know I should remember who he is, but I forgot. blush

Ruger, he's a very dark sable.

Thanks Ruger1 and Jenni! I think he's pretty swell myself ;-)
Yep, he's a very dark sable.

He's here, and there's no reason to remember him as he ain't done nothin' of import yet, aside from scaring carjackers (what fun!).

For Ruger1 - I would say that he is mostly DDR lines (DDR sport lines? wink  ) with some quite serious Czech dogs thrown in there for good measure.

Mollyandjack - he is gorgeous. Do you have a link to his pedigree?

Nevermind, just saw the post above me!

mollyandjack and I both have compared how the SAME dogs fare on different diets, dogs that came off of raw and dogs that went to raw, and appearantly anyone happy enough with kibble doesn't want to test that proof.  Not anyone's loss but their own.

What I have noticed since switching to a raw diet is a significant decrease of stool. My females first litter was fed Avoderm, as was she and the sheer amount I fed her to keep weight on caused diareeha. Although the pups were healthy the stool issue was enough for me to try something new. This litter which is due in less than 2 weeks will be fed a raw diet, I have been feeding my female raw for a while now and one thing I have noticed most is how clear and bright her eyes are. Her coat looks great but always has. She eats about 3 pounds a day of beef with tripe and organ meet, and 1 turkey neck, plus all the other goods i put in her food, and yet it is still cheaper than the kibble I used to feed, another bonus in my opinion!! As for this next litter I will see if there is a difference in weight from the first (i kept detailed records of their weight). Every other variable is the same, except age of the sire and dam and time of year the litter will be whelped. It will be interesting to say the least!!! As for all the other comments holy crap people, why does everything have to be a who's is better argument? I will post pics if this thread is still viable in 6 weeks.

Since some people on here were talking about teeth. Here is my male Aiko (he is the one in my avitar). This picture is of him at 7 years old. I do not clean his teeth. I do give him Nylabones to chew on periodically though. This picture was taken on an overcast day...so the lighting isnt the best.
