Alpha,

Please direct me to the link ,survey or other data
that explains 30% of the ears did not go up.

Where is the data to back up your claim?

What is your source?

I think it's up to the judge whether to accept x-rays and/or letters from vets.  As far as I know, your best bet for proving full dentition is getting the dental certificate that the SV judges do.  They are offered at most shows for around $10 once the dog is 12 months.  But if the dog is already missing the tooth, you won't get it, you would need it now in order for the missing tooth not to effect the show rating/placement.  I think this is what the SV judges want to see, not necessarily other "proof" from vets.
