Timothy Helser is still trying the same old scam. He contacted people in our training group trying to get them to send him the dog for training.  He is slick about it. First he friends you on facebook then he tells you how bad your dog is and all the great things he can do if you just send him the dog. He did this TODAY.

I'm surprised there are people that would accept helser's friend request.

Has anyone been able to find any confirmation of his claim that he was 'the youngest SchH youth champion in Czechoslovakia' [paraphrasing because I don't feel like going back into the archives to find his exact wording]?   Given that I would expect if one earned such an honor, one would be sure to mention the year one accomplished the feat--for example, I'm pretty damn sure that the young gentleman who represented Estonia in this year's WUSV, Karl Robert Magi, and was the youngest handler to represent his nation in that event to date, will make mention of the year of this achievement if he is citing it among his IPO-training/handling credentials...  Ditto for Martin Matousek, on the Czech Republic team, another youth handler. Yet Timmy never, ever seems to attach a date to that claim.

Has anyone ever been able to find even one previously untitled dog that he's put even a BH on, let alone a SchH/IPO title?  True, I've never put a SchH title on a dog, just a BH, but I also don't claim to be a 'master trainer' or the 'training director' of a club, either; as far as I can tell, any titled dogs in his hands were gotten there by somebody else long before he got his hooks into them.

Like others have said, good clubs around here are OG Ohio, OG Buckeye, NW Working Dog, Mid Ohio, Feuerlands.... I have trained at OG Ohio for about 15 years, but would be just as happy with any of the club's I listed, I've been to all these clubs and they are all good, but some are full and not taking members, not sure which ones are but I know my club OG Ohio in Dalton Ohio is always welcoming new members whether its for IPO or just obedience, not sure where you live but we have members who come regularly from the Columbus area.... Good luck on your search, and beware it does seem like Ohio has a lot of weird self proclaimed trainers (some have been listed and some have not) who can sound wonderful but aren't.

Dalton?,,That is not far from me maybe 1/2 an hour!,,I have a male SL that I have aggression issues with and would love to find a group to train (OB) with that will not be "put off" by our working through our issues, and also by my lack of general knowledge,,There are not any reputable OB group classes that I know of around my area that are comfortable having a GSD like Prince in class,,Does your group have formal OB lessons?..

The only verified accomplishment(to this date) for Timmy was a Bh at O.G. Indy several years back.

Everything else is voice in the wind at this point. I,m liking The trainer to Regional and National and World Champions!!! in a pigs eye! I,ve never heard of 1 person in all of dogdom who would stand up proudly and say "Tim Helser is my trainer!" It,s normally "Don,t hold this against me but i did train with Tim Helser" Then it,s normally followed by He stole my dog yadayadayada or He stole my money yadayadayada or he ruined my dog yadayadayada!!

Bob, that BH was on an already titled dog, though, if I recall correctly?  Wasn't it with 'the most titled dog in the world, Taz z whatever it was'? [Felt bad for that dog, he was a hell of a nice looking dog with nice breeding behind him, and he deserved better...but so do the dogs he has now.]

Oh, yes, trainer to Champions...witness his recent fb post of a video of him 'working Dean Calderon's dog, Tramp', which looks more like Timmyboy was getting helper training FROM Dean.

Contact Gerry Azzi, he used to have a great club at his property near Delaware Ohio (just north of Columbus).  Havent talked to him in a while.  Below is a link to his website.http://azziinternational.com/azzik9/profile.html  His knowledge is amazing and the dogs he gets and turns out are top notch!
