Noddi, Have we met? Well the answer to that would have to be probably. As you have been involved with the breed for some years and i have since about 1969, our paths must have crossed many many times. But it very unlikely we will be familular with one another as we move in completely different circles i would think.

Bazza, well you have been in the breed for nearly 20 yrs.longer than me,i bought my 1st gsd in 1986 and started showing the following year.if you,re on the working side then we will not have meet, but if you are into the show scene ,then  most likely our paths will have crossed because in the beginning i knew nothing of the split in the breed and i entered under a lot of wrong judges for my type of animal as Cassie was the product from a mating of a german type male to an english female.Cassie took after her sires line, while her brother who the breeder kept was like his dam.i wouls suspect if we do meet in the future we could have some strong debates.i suspect that you are more knowllegeable than me in some respects.may be so rude as to ask you an impertinant question.ARE YOU A PERSON WHO PREFERS THE ENGLISH TYPE.this is no slur on you as i have friends(acquaintances) who have english animals and we agree to disagree and we discuss and debate current issues with no aminosity .(maidstone area)Carole

Oh look doing a DP THE COME BACK KID.

Carole, we have met you many times in the past, my husband use to say you were a blonde bombshell and I recall you having a jeep type 4X4 with a RHEINMEISTER GSD’s wheel cover on the back door. the good old days, but as for me butting in on this thread as above, well DP is fond of calling us females of this world split arses, I got in first, well almost he did in a way have his dig.

JJ = Graham Martin of Graychelsea GSD -  CLEARLY MENTALLY ILL.
I have never used that terminology about women, -
I have heard Graham Marin use those words. One of the many reasons I dislike him.
He is very insecure, a weasel, and probably very humble in his home, some people describe him as "creepy".

Noddi, my father owned and bred " alsatians" all his life so that is what i was reared on.  At the age of 14 he gave me my " first" dog, which was of course " alsatian" type.  At the age of 22 i bought my first Germanic type and never looked back. But i think before we get slapped over the knuckles for chit chatting off topic, we should probably call it a day about you and i , would not like to offend the "serious" GSD folks here.

Bazza & Noddi - Don't stop! I was actually enjoying reading about you.
Makes a wonderful change from the usual snide comments one reads on here.

Bazza, yes i think our paths must have crossed and i agree that we shouldnt be chit chatting on this thread.........Frank,thank you for your comments, maybe we might see one another at a show.maybe Crufts.J.J. OR GRAHAM MARTIN ,if thats your true identity.YOU HAVE DEFINITELY GOT ME MIXED UP WITH SOMEONE ELSE WHO,S AFFIX IS SIMILAR TO MINE.as those who know me,i am not or never was A BLONDE BOMBSHELL.perish the thought.you are thinking of Cynthia Wickens who had the affix of RHEINHALLE.If you are indeed Mr.Martin then yes we have met and spoken to each other. You judged a show at Maidstone Lockmarket(gsds).i am a small slim lady who has long dark hair tied back  in a pony tail.Remember me????????David must be laughing his head off at the moment.now who should get their facts right.

Carole, sorry we got it wrong and as I never  judged a show then it's not me.

But as a protest to you David we don’t have a flag to burn so the next best thing is the Varus t-shirt you give us.

JJ has judged a show, and he "harassed" the lady owner of one of the winners. She apparently emailed him and thanked him. BIG MISTAKE with this weirdo, he kept on emailing her, and it apparently got very personal and very frightening for the lady owner. As I have said, he is considered very "creepy".

Like you e-mailed someone who frequents this board about a gun 'special' boy? Funny how the person in question seems to have forgotten this episode. I and a few others, havent.
