The content of your cross post was excellent, and sums up exactly how I feel about the GSD and the overall situation it finds itself in. I have been advocating a return to a 'universal'/ 'middle of the road' type with no exaggerations, which truly does meet the breed standard for a very, very long time now.  

pencil.wot is it that yu have got a thing about mr.Gray?????in the old days when i first started,late 80,s/early 90,s i did buy the uk handbook at crufts each year,mainly just to see who breed wot on the english side,in order that would know if i could enter my bitch under them.many of them i wouldnt but a few i thought i might give it a try.Mr.Len Rathajen,Bob Kinsey,m.Barron,Tracy Wall,Kevin Hoyland,Gary Gray are the few i can remember that I WOULD HAVE AND DID PUT my cassie in.HEY HO she was placed every time and in big classes and cassie was of germanic type,but unfortunately had a missing PM1.she was breed surveyed by Malcolm Griffiths(no comments please)obviously only getting a CLASS 2 on dention.she was classed as a very harmonious bitch with the correct propotions.all my animals stem from here ,and she was always mated to males from the german sides,as have her descendant females.my latest bitch IMO is of the same type as CH.Norwulf going for Gold.so where is your problem ?????are yu now going to state then that my bitch isnt of CORRECT TYPE?HAVE YU SEEN HER IN THE FLESH,NOT PICTURES,IN THE FLESH????Carole Spelman.

in your defence of the indefensible-you never seem to grasp the essence of the posts that are posted.
with reference to mr. grays going for gold-i asked fayrelander ( not you noddi ) for the list of 30-40 judges he/she reckoned were all different that judged going for gold.while i reckon that will be impossible-i would like to see afore mentioned list.-but it is easter monday-so miracles may happen !!!!!!!

Just had a look at her, and THAT is definitely a type I would like to see more of. Lovely.

pencil,i give up,am throwing in the towel.there,s no pleasing yu ....IS THERE?Dingodong,i,ve know Polly Flinders since a puppy,liked her then and still do,although i would like a tad more leg length to complete the picture,but i also think my bitch sometimes looks a bit short in leg length as she carries a good coat.we were quite often in competion against one another.i cant understand why pencil keeps insulting them and their animals.Carole S.

            maybe pencil keeps on because reading thro the posts fayrelander made an outragious statement regarding the judging of GFG and when asked to clarify/prove -its seems silence is golden.which would conclude to me at least that its not true.
maybe you know the answer noddi.

On a side note....I don't see why some people are letting some posters comments annoy them...

If you know you don't like what a person posts, then scoot straight past any post they make (ignore it) and carry on from where you left off.

If a person is ignored long enough by the people they are trying to annoy, they soon get bored with it.

Is something that has worked in real life for years!!

Yes, possibly a fraction more length in the leg would be better, but I think she is a cracking dog, and I really hope to see more of this type of dog (which I would class as Middle of the Road) appearing in the future.
