Shtal
If money is no object to you them why are you going to breed your Dogs, that is nonsense and you do not tell the truth you say one thing and mean another, for in earlier posts you are breeding to make money
Regards your Dogs are better than Izzy i will tell no one what she cost, But young Man look at her Breeding then look at that of your own dogs,
To me she is priceless you would not have enough money to buy her even if you wanted to nor would anyone else,
Three very good offers already turned down for her and with the proceeds i could buy three more quality dogs but she will never be sold for it is the principle with me, i bought her to work and do well in the Sport of Schutzund, to part with her is out of the question for i would be giving in without trying and that has never been allowed to happen with me in my life time
Yes, i am a poor Guy, cannot say that Pack is,  But this is where you have not got your priorities right, you think because you pay a lot of money the product is automatically good, that is a big mistake
If you go to any breeder and you have your own choice, then you can see certain things in Puppies which you think if you buy it will give you the edge and you will have a good Pup for the reason you are buying it for,
 In my case Schutzund
Now fortunate for me i had that choice and i know i picked the right Pup, it is what you see and sense at the time, not what the cost is for a fool and his money is soon parted
Now once you have had the chance of picking your own Pup it is only then you decide if the price asked is worth it
One final bit to you if you cannot take criticism about your posts and Dogs then better not bother, you started okay but now you are turning you made silly statements earlier regards shutting me up for good once your pedigrees were shown against young  Izzys,
Based only i guess on how much you paid for your Dogs another mistake,  Folk on here can make there own minds up

Shtal,
Steve really IS a GOOD person. Not only that, he has extensive knowledge (and wisdom, knowledge is nothing without the wisdom!)  and he trains with World Class people.  You could really learn something if you wanted to listen to it.
Many of the people on here offered you sound advice and you got angry and offened when NO ONE agreed with you.

You just said that you want to not work and just breed dogs. That makes me very sad for the breed Shtal.

I have tried explaining why to you and you don't want to listen. Bettering the breed, is just that BETTERING the breed. NOT making them larger (why is larger better?) And certainly not crossbreeding them with wolves. Do you NOT see the danger and foolishness in that? And then you no longer have a GSD, you have a MUTT. And a HUMAN dangerous Mutt at that. I am not trying to hurt your feelings in this post as you don't know me and already said you don't care, so that part doesn't matter. I do not wish to offend you any more than you already are. I just would like some of what everyone here has been trying to explain to you (nicely or not) to SINK IN. You call other thick-headed. DO you see the irony in that?

I really hope you take this to heart Shtal. Neuter your big male, neuter your hybrid. DO something with your other dogs to prove they are worthy of being bred.

Good Luck to you and I hope you take into consideration that people here REALLY want to HELP you.

Money is necessary to live yes.... But to make your living off of breeding dogs is unrealistic, unless you turn your dogs into puppy making machines (as someone else stated) Again good luck to you.

"Why not give them the opportunity to buy Giant?"...They already have it. You already know you are not the first to do this, as you said "many" people are doing it...so there are enough other people out there ruining the breed. Congratulations, you're next. What a shame.

Tip: You should learn the laws before you start breeding hybrids.

Steve1 or anyone else........
WHY are you even trying to converse or educate this person????
He answered this post much earlier on........."because he can and theres nothing you can do about it".......
Just like the other "breeders" that breed regardless of temperment, structure or ANYTHING that remotely is described in the GSD standard.
After all.........color doesn't matter, structure doesn't matter, working temperment doesn't matter.....they are breeding for family pets.......so everything goes.
Bottom line.......they will do it anyway.

Funny thing though........I would love to know, how many of these "posters" would & have actually purchase(d) their dogs from the same breeders that they so willingly defend??
I think THESE people should willingly show THEIR dog's pedigree's.............how much you wanna bet......almost none.
No these hypocrites, purchase THEIR dogs from kennels/breeders that have "proven" dogs in their pedigrees.

WOW.......do as I say.....not as I do.
Steve1....don't waste your time........the idiots only get dumber.

Shtal,
A GSD is not a Saint Bernard, you are comparing apples/oranges. You are asking questions that have already been answered many ways and have been given good reasons by many posters on here. I don't think you would know a good reason not to breed if it fell in your lap Shtal.

My male dog is  from a respected breeder  who has worked very hard to produce the kind of dogs he is getting. I am working him towards his BH and I plan to go as far as possible with him.  I don't want to stop and stud him out at SchH III... I want to compete!
I got a late start with his training and he is showing to be a quick learner and a hard worker with great drives. His pedigree is here.

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/610858.html

As far as breeding him (nice pedigree or not) He has to PROVE himself to me. I want titles on him and his OFA results before I breed him.

I will also be getting a female pup to title in the late fall/early winter, from the same breeder.

I would love to say I am done with this topic, but I'm sure I won't be able to resist seeing what absurdities you spout off next.

Stacy
