If prelim is done at 18 months and is good what do you think about breeding before 2 yrs?  Hips are really not likely to change. Right?   If dog is mature, what do you think?  Just asking.

I don't know for sure,
I''ve only done mine at 2 years.
I don't know what could change all that much in six months but they are still growing.
I really only want to have to do it once unless I saw problems later.

a dog sv as 1a has been known to be only fair or borderline by 2 years......if prelim came back less then excellent, there's still a chance they can go bad.......its realy better to wait.

Pluss the dog is actually mature............before making puppies. lots can be said about that.,

I think it is like breeding your teen age daughter.  Let the dog completely mature.  Get your 24 month OFA &/or other titles in order before breeding.  Do you plan to be a reputable breeder or puppy mill???  Set you and her up for a positive experience not failure and disapointment.
