I know, many of you are breeders and manyof you only want to get a GSD from a breeder,
but there are so unbelivable many GSDs out there that really need a home!
Daily, so many of beautiful German Shepherds die in shelters and get euthanized.
Often these dogs are maybe even AKC registred and trained.
For example we do have dogs that are SchH3 trained and imported from Germany. Sometimes the owner just has to surrender the dog because of severe illness etc.
German Shepherds serve us in all aspects of life (police,military, help for disabled.. just to name a few jobs of these amazing breed),
lets help them!
If you have the room, the time and the passion,
please consider adopting! And please never buy a dog from back-yard breeders or puppy mills (pet store dogs), always carefully choose a breeder and make sure he is responsible.

Most of us on this list are also involved in rescue/foster. We all hate to see perfectly good GSDs thrown away like so much garbage.

Ditto to that, right now I have so many GSD's in rescue I don't have room to turn around. They all live in the house, only a few aggressive ones that I am working on retraining, are in the kennels, those I can't put on the website yet till I know if I can retrain them enough to adopt out or have to be killed...I have a waiting list for more to come in...unfortunatley they get killed before I can get to them, I am getting worn out rescuing all these GSD's from the breeders, puppy mills and backyard breeders, THAT GET THEIR DOGS FROM THE REAL BREEDERS.....
I have a beautiful 8 month old black male that came from a backyard breeder, he was just being a typical pushy puppy but the people decided they could no longer control the cute ball of fluff....there is nothing wrong with this dog he has a fantastic nose on him and is very smart...I got him at 4 months old, he is not going to just anyone, I had him on my rescue website and EVERYONE wanted a puppy but there weren't any GOOD QUALIFIED APPLICANTS....YET..so I took him off...
So when I find the right home for him he will be adopted out...but he is keeping me from rescuing more in need...so please help us out here and cut back on your litters...I just got one 7 yr old flown into Montana from Pennsylvania...GO FIGURE.....
BREEDERS---HELP US OUT....QUIT BREEDING FOR THE MONEY AND YOUR LOOKING FOR THAT PERFECT SHOW DOG AND GETTING RID OF THE OTHERS, in the litter...I KNOW IT IS DONE OUT THERE....YEARS AGO I USED TO BE ONE OF THEM BUT I GOT SMARTER....THANKS FOR LETTING ME VENT....I AM BEGINNING TO HATE PEOPLE RIGHT NOW....
