How does one go about turning in someone who is running a puppymil? She has and is breeding her female GSD's on almost every heat. She allows them to run her property, lose, no fences and says, "Oh they never leave the yard" , could be why her 10 month old female is pregnant. Does anyone know if AKC will even do anything about it?? Just asking.

Puppy mills are legal as long as the dogs are not being abused or neglected, or as long as no other crime is being committed. Sad but true.

You should be able to make a complaint to the local animal control regarding the dogs running loose, but they can not do anything about her breeding unless it is in violation of local ordinances or laws.

AKC will do nothing unless someone challanges the pedigree of a litter and are forced to have a DNA done to prove what dog is the sire... if they're allowed to run loose it could be an issue. Other than that they'll do nothing as they are ONLY a registering body, not a policing body
