It was an awsome event. Finally those fuzzy gsd's did something right. They don't have a brain anyway so the lack of oxygen didn't bother them. LOL... For sure though the mals were in full force. Most made some serious mistakes and it opened the door for those gsd's. Long as top dog was a mal, who cares right? I'm just fortunate to have not only seen the 100pt protection, but to be the front half decoy this year was even better. That was a highlight for me. We (mals v/s gsd's) will meet again at the FCI and Dhv this year. Though I must say the GSD's were well represented. Wish you guys could have see the explosion on Mike Citro's gsd Draco. Wow was it awsome. Super fast, super grips. Waine 2009 DVG Front Half Decoy

 LOL!

Hey..does anyone know if there was video shot of the event?  I would love to see the video of the funny looking dog that got 100 in PRO.   Must have been pretty cool, even if it was a Melonhead..I mean Malinois ....

I have emailed everyone for the video. No one seemed to video it except for the videographer of the event. Called her today and she was busy in her garden and wants me to call back after dark... WTF ! Of course she has gsd's so it's not a priority. LMAO...

After videoing all and posting almost all of the OB and protection from the 2008 AWMA Nationals I know how time consuming editing and posting can be........   And I'm a GSD person too.  LOL  Wish I could have been at this one.

Actually, Waine,  I was mowing the lawn...( the garden is trashed after the hail-storm-from-hell on Sunday afternoon!)

Seriously, I will have a full set of DVD's available soon..

I have all of the OB and protection of VPG I - II - III, as individual disks or as a set. Individual routines available also.

The best deal will be the complete set, which includes the awards ceremony and highlights of the hail.

More details soon... please be patient.

I will effort to have some samples available for viewing by this weekend.

DVD's will have menus and chapters for easy navigation to your favorite team and routine.

I am taking pre-orders.. call,email, or IM.

Wow!  How's that for service?

by WAINES WORLD on 18 June 2009 - 04:06

Oh yeah, Forgot to mention the mid-day "ice storm" they call hail there. Lol.. That in itself was incredible. We call it winter in Chicago. Still was a great time and the rafting in the Colorado moutains was just as awsome as the trial.

I wonder what it feels like to get 96-96-100?

You wonder what it feels like???? Well let's see. First you gotta eat good - steak at the bar. Then you buy drinks for everyone to help celebrate, at the bar of course. After the bar closes, you pop a bottle of Martel in the lobby for a night cap with those crazy enough to still be up and drinking. I guess it feels kinda good. It was awsome.

Sounds good to me! I wonder if Phil will ever get tired of winning championships? I suspect... not.

I should be such a good trainer as even to dream about winning a National event someday before I am too old and crippled up to hobble down the field.
