What does it take for a stud to be "proven", how many litters with different females? If he should be proven I guess his offspring should have been tested in satisfactory amount when it comes to health and character.

Thank you guys for this thread. I am not familiar with working line dogs until I came to this site so I am always trying to research and study them. You guys gave me a good list to review. Buteven as ignorant as I am yoschy seems like an amazing dog. Again thanks to all

"What does it take for a stud to be "proven"

Studs that have gone on to produce several dogs, with different females, that have success in sport especially high trials, and in my opinion work such as police K9, military, swat and SAR, avalanche rescue.

molly, do you have any evidence to support that claim?  I ask, because I remember you making the same claim about Bomber's photo, and it seems slanderous.  Just seems the thought would be better kept to yourself if you don't want to back it up.

Here's a couple more Vito sons...

What claim, that ALL of these pictures are photoshopped?  It is extremely obvious to anyone with two eyeballs, or even one eyeball, that these toplines are photoshopped.  The last one, Bosco - also his chest and rear appear photoshopped.   ALL of these professional photos advertising stud dogs seem to be - including the professional photo of my own dog Bandit.  VERY obvious.  Some are done more obviously than others, but All you have to do is look closely.

Good Morning Prager,
Here's what I see immediately. Molly may see more.
If you look at Bosco. Starting at his nose and following along the top of his body you can see a faint smeer or smudging. I think Bosco has been cut out from another picture and pasted onto this one. Note how he standing on top of the grass. Also note the blades of grass in the background are smudgy.

Bosco's picture is an example of a poorly done photoshop job - the whole dog is "blurred" - the topline and chest are obviously photoshopped.  There is something going on under the groin area too - why that is so blurry ????? - don't know why.  Even the grass around his feet is obviously re-done or added in.  But anyway, do you really think all of these dogs (not just these dogs, but nearly all working-line stud dogs in this type of professional photo) have the exact same toplines?

I am on my iPhone so can't see the pics that well. However, I used to retouch photos for a living and I can tell you immediately that Bosco's is obviously photoshopped. A blatant giveaway at first glance is the shadow - there is a very dark shadow of the dog, but no sign of the leash. I will look more closely at the others later.
