Some people can't say anything nice about anybody else's dog unless it reflects favorably on their own.
...and yes, people tend to forget the female component of a good dog, even when that female is Dixi Haus Santiages.

Don't know the dogs pictured, so there is nothing nice or not to say about them (from me) other than, as I said, they are good looking dogs indeed.  Just obviously photoshopped.  As are most/many/maybe all of the similar "stud shots" taken to advertise stud dogs in Europe.  It's just a fact I chose to mention - nothing against the dog, other than I'd like to see the real dog if I were personally recommending them for breeding or using them.

and the thread is about stud dogs, not females.

Prager, I think it's very individual, so I won't get into discussing names. It's important to do research and see what quality in a dog is most desirable for yourself and for the offspring's purpose, even if they are all working-line. And of course the best stud dog is nothing without a good matching female, correct line of ancestors (line-breeding), observation or research on siblings, exsisting progeny and so on...

Leave us not forget Quincy Waldwinkel, arguably Dixi's best son, by Asko von der Lutter. Quncy's brother Quax has produced well also.

Topic is best workingline NEW studs.  This could be a very long and complicated discussion if old established well-known studs are included.  But, whatever.

What about Archie Manning (and his wife)?
A great quaterback in his own time, and, he has produced two Super Bowl winning quarterbacks, Peyton and Eli! Archie never won a Super Bowl, so, I guess you would have to say he has produced better than himself.

Remember, it's a team effort, like the sum of the dog, handler, training-director, helpers, and other club members.

So, would you "genetic diversity" advocates endorse the notion of Mrs. Manning sleeping with other QB's to improve the NFL genepool?  Or would that be 'popular dam syndrome' or 'foundress effect'?  Perhaps the sporting lines too far gone, suffering a weakening of character due to positive coaching methods?

Workingline on this board is often connected to sport performance.  Problem is sport performance does not especially during this modern area transfer to real work ie. patrol K9, swat K9, herding, search and rescue, avalache etc.  I always liked the DDR and Czech dog pedigrees that displayed the various police titles.  That's impressibe stuff.  But most american leo K9 handlers don't pay attention to this stuff.
I would like to know what studs these guys are using;

What WL stud is producing police service K9?
