Siantha, Saw your "fun pictures" thread of your dogs, is that bred to the standard???? I don't think you can blame just the Americans, here in the UK we have our very own variety.....Alsatians!!!! Thankfully though not as popular as they once were.

Greed from breeders everywhere is what happened to this breed as well as many other breeds. Have you ever seen the documentary, "Pedigree Dogs Exposed?"

Thank you. Your dogs are very cute! I agree Kazbeck's ears are pretty identical because of the red spots in the back of your dogs' ears. Maybe they are distant relatives.
