Quote: I have a half brother to Arras, Lazer v Landschaft SchH3 KKL1, mother an Asko Lutter daughter.  Also a very powerful dog, extreme grips, very fast for his size. Lots of trouble with control in trials, but overall wonderful dog.  Social , no handler aggression.  He could REALLY put a hurt on if he wanted to. Only one litter sired by him,

That is so irritating to me. : ) I have seen many good powerful dogs passed over and the pliable "winning" dog bred. No one wants to "train" a dog anymore, they want the dog that fits into their ______________ (pick your seminar giver/TD) training method.

I am going to have to start my own he man weak dog haters club. : ) Anyone want to join ? We can make t-shirts and everything.

I'm in New Jersey.....Zidane, Zulma, Zarah...I thought there was 1 more....all very nice dogs. Zarah could have been a police dog. She was that tough. She produced mediocre dogs because of who she was bred to IMNSHO. I have seen and worked plenty of Ufo progeny...shucks...I've worked Palma progeny:-)

ha ha...I hear you Jeff. Those powerful dogs must be recognized as the savior...breeders must recognize such!

Judron, you are correct there is another sibling. A male named Zeppo who's here in the States.

Also as the owner of Zulma van't Leefdaalhof I too think the Z-litter was outstanding.

Jeff--- Sign me up for the club. Not only T-shirts but Hooded sweatshirts for fall training nights.

my dog is line bred to vaya/ruth her dad is a working police dog now in america anything else thats in her is czech seems like a great dog for protection so far from what trainers who have seen her here have said when evaluating her.  i am so glad i ended up with these lines i didnt know anything about it but thanks to some members of these boards (like ramgsds & jeff) I did not want to end up with a prey monster that had nothing else :)

It is too bad that the little rascals didn't have a GSD, that would have made an excellent t-shirt/hoodie.

I will have to figure something out, maybe Basco and his war face on the basket. I have ideas, but no actual skill to implement the dang things.

I'll admit I didn't really promote him as a stud dog, although I've had lots of compliments and comments from folks. I've already beaten myself up about not doing right by my dog training wise...in other hands he'd have been a nationals dog.  I myself am not a breeder and live in the middle of nowhere, but do have someone else interested in breeding to him this fall.  And I DO believe he has genetics that should be passed on.  I hate when you see so many promoting that they have the greatest dog in the world.  Some are...most aren't.  My dog is not the greatest dog in the world (he is to me :) ) And there's more to a good dog than scores.....the dog is what it is aside from training.

There's more to a good Dog than just Scores, Easy said without even justifying what you have said
NO' there is NOT if you are competing in the Sport of Schutzund Scores mean everything
And many of you guys forget most the Police Dogs and the Sar Dogs herding dogs PPDs and anything else they do come down from the past great lines of ScH Dogs of years ago,
They are the Progeny of such Dogs in a great number of cases and from these Dogs than any other kind of Work this breed does and that is beyond any dispute yet so many knock the Sport.
If i am wrong then put the proof on here with Pedigrees of what work the Parents, G.Parents and G Grand Parents have done that should go back far enough without working in the Sch Sport ,
It is so easy to say Yes' my Dog should be bred from because of its genetics, In part i agree But certainly not before that Dog has been tested fully in some kind of Job and had its Joints Officially graded as breed worthy, I can say that about the Dog in my Avatar, Breeding Impeccable, Joints a1normal but still in my eyes not ready to breed from until she has proven herself in a job of work, In her case the ScH sport I have to know the real Temperament of the Dog to me most important and until a Dog is put under pressure and stress it will not show up, If as expected she does well in the Sport chosen for her and then she has to be Korclassed without that she will not be bred from
I set a very high Bar for any Dog to be breed worthy more than most WHY, because to me that is the only way to further the breed which is slowly being dragged down by Breedings which should never take place People talk a good talk But in all things  proof and proven ability is needed,
Willy Nilly Breeding is for reward to the Owner nothing else that is why a lot are good talkers and make a case for themselves, But i note you do not breed these dogs much like myself

What are you, mental ? LOL Scores mean fuck all in breeding.

1989 mink vom haus wittfield 80th place.

Timmy von der bosen nachobar was 9th he was 3

Troll the next year was 23rd, but crushed his brother in breedings.

Half von rubachtal at the tender age of 7 managed to get 71st.

He produced Nick, and others.

That pretty java taka maka dog has a lot of older male progeny for sale. Want to know why ? he was a high scoring middle of the road turd. Everyone knows that the middle of the road turds can't get squished. HA HA

Scores mean fuck all. I could care less how good the trainer is, I want to see how good the dog is, and that never really seems to be the dog with the high score when it comes to breeding percentage wise.

You breed the high scoring dog to the powerhouse's sister, and can cheat and say OH LOOK, A HIGH SCORING DOG DID THIS. Well, not really.
