Teufel Hunde

If he's fluffy we'll just tease him about being "girly". I know there is some discrimination with long coats, but if he has correct structure and good drive I can get over it .I saw that pic of Bravo...adorable. Has he been shown at all? I believe you said he was up for his BH soon. How is he on the sleeve?

This gal took SG1This ohnoihndfererTttttttt This pretty gal took SG1 at a recent show in the long coat

Jenni congrats!...Capri is gorgeous from her pencil toes to the tips of the ears...LOL..wasn't Capris last litter had only 5 pups? or am I thinking of someone else...hmm...in any case please keep posting pictures....most of us (even those who will not admit) are suckers for puppies...would love to see how sable puppy will turn out color wise along with everything else...

Apparently, Bravo is well on his way to a SchH1 and is outperforming many dogs much older. I heard through the grapevine (from someone who didn't even know I knew the dog, let alone bred him, lol) that the TD had to keep reminding himself that Bravo was just a puppy. He brings a lot of aggression. He's almost done w/blind searches, his escape and long bite was quoted as "WOW" by his TD, and he said his bark and hold looks great. I'm really going to try to be there for his BH next weekend! I hope Nadeem will chime in and he doesn't think he's hijacking.

LF, you're thinking of someone else. For some reason, only the Chico litters are small. She only had 3 Chico pups last time...other litters 10!
The sables are dark and 2 have a more reddish tint, and one has more of a grayer/tanner undercoat. They are a tad darker than Brix was. Cierny has very very dark feet even. And wow is she active.

D'awww! Bravo was/is adorable! Looks like a little teddy bear!

Teufel - you're so lucky to be getting Corrado!

And Capri looks awesome too... So poised, and I love her funky ear!

Hey Cat, how do you think Aurick is going to feel about Corrado? Especially if Corrado moves right in and takes over, as others have done, regardless of age? Not all dogs take it as well as others. LOL  Do you have a separation plan in order just in case? Just curious....I'll gladly take him back if he's too much trouble.

OMG, Dawulf, I hate that ear. I was so upset about that. She was absolutely flawless. cheeky Oh well. I'm getting over it, but it still bugs me that I can never again take perfect headshots of her. The one in my avatar is the last one w/2 full ears.

Well i guess i can chime in since it says "...Capri & Chico pups,...)  :)

Teufel Hunde you are more than welcome to come to a training session if you like.  Are you near any of the Chicago suburbs?  Bring a dog too if you like.

Bravo is a great dog, but like Elkoor and Jules will tell you, you will want to choke them, (Capri pups),  pretty much each day for something. lol.

We did a Sch3 track on Saturday but i did have 12 articles on the track since we just started them.  He would be a fantastic mantracker for the police, ( i was told), because of his
strange love for tracking.  Our goal is to make him like it a little less so he concentrates more and not have a  tail wagging blast :).

For the sleeve stuff you should really see it for yourself.  Since i am new at this, i couldn't really accurately relay what he is doing into the correct words.  But he has taken down two helpers doing the long bite and one
was the training director.  He is very fast and comes at you pissed off.  His nickname at the club is "the monster,"  and "the Bravenator."  lol.  And he is just 17 months old now and we have the BH on the 24th of this month.

But saying all this i should also mention i have a two year old that adores him and he nicely endures her energetic "tough love."  :)

What happened to it, if you don't mind me asking?

I love it when you two post together... I still can't get over the resemblance between Bravo and his mommy.

She says you should see the other bitch.

I, however, will tell you the truth. She ripped it off on, of all things, a bucket. A bucket seems innocent enough, but apparently not. It was at my old house when I was pregnant and sick; I actually had real kennels in my garage for a short time and I clipped buckets on the kennels so they couldn't tip them accidentally. I was so careful, too. I thought I thought of everything that could possibly be dangerous. They had rubber tips on the ends where they curl around to form the handle. She decided to rip the rubber tips off, making a bigger gap (if you can picture what I mean) and I guess she must've been messing with it and gotten her ear caught. Rather than panic, scream, or do any of the normal things someone in that predicament might do, she just yanked it out and ripped it off. I was outside, right around the corner, and never heard a peep. Not even a yelp. I walk back into the garage and there is blood EVERYWHERE. I couldn't figure out what the heck happened. Her ear looked like it had a giant bite out of it- all jagged and awful looking. I thought another dog did it, but Caleb and Apollo were on either sides of her, and they wouldn't do that, plus the fact that I never heard a sound. A fight between kennels where someone lost a chunk of an ear would make some sort of sound. I found the rest of the ear in her bucket when I was trying to clean up the mess and a little piece of it was still stuck in the handle. Mystery solved. I was HORRIFIED. I cried (hey, I was pregnant). Then, I did what any unsuperficial, true working dog enthusiast would do; I drove her 2 hours to the best canine plastic surgeon I could find who made it look bigger by cutting it off. Go figure. It was AWFUL before.

The end.
