How do you guys rate this pedigree of my female? According to drive and hardness?

That is a terrible pedigree, I suggest you send that dog to me right away.  I will give her a nice home.  Seriously, that is an awesome pedigree.  I am sure she is a fantastic dog.

EisenFaust, i like what i see, i would have to make a research because i'm not familiar with all dogs, anyway i don't like to rate a dog just by a pedigree!

I've rarely see anything I would like to own in the schh lines

give me an example of the lines you're using:-) I don't believe the sport has anything to do with the dogs genetics...either it's a good dog or it ain't....

Excellent!  well said.
No matter what people say about schutzhund, it is almost always the sport that is behind the dogs they like.
Schutzhund is simply a tool people can use to see what their dog brings to the table, it is a standardized test.
If we like a dog, we can "track him down" through his scores/trials, and then from there we can talk to people
that have seen him work, helpers that have caught him etc. But, the genetics have to be there to start with!

judron, i believe you were asking me what lines i am breeding? Well I am in partnership with a couple other people with Sequoyah GSD, here is their website. Check out the breeding females and we have a couple more coming.

Remember a pedigree is just a snapshot of the past. It shows us what was. Now a pedigree does show you what the parents have accomplished so you hope that the traits, type and so on come through. I personally pay attention to the lines for what I want, then I make sure that the actuall parents have the traits, type and so on. So are KNPV lines better or are Sch lines better? My opinion is a strong working pedigree whether KNPV or Sch should not matter if you are breeding for quality. Yes some dogs are faster, some bigger, some slower but quality working drives are quality working lines. just my 2 cents,,,,,,

Nice pedigrees...EisenFaust....good luck...I own a Jimbeam vom Talka Marda son. I believe my comment was directed at myret:-)
A few weeks ago, I worked a Ace of Nike son that was a very nice dog...2 yrs old...never did any bite work...people have no idea what a nice dog they have! I am working a Dasty son that is nice but will be nothing but trouble trialing....has a very hard time containing himself. Just starting 2 Angsbackens Rosso females....they look very promising. My Bandit vom Wolfsheim daughter is a pistol...hopefully a BH on her in May. Good luck folks with your dogs!

Thanks yellowrose, it has been awhile since we last spoke. hope all is well? My bad judron55, but gave me a chance to show off our females :) You are right about the fact that many people just dont know or understand what they have under the hood sorta speak. I tell ya I was always so into the males then I started getting females and I tell ya wow? When you find a good bitch it is awesome, also I have been following the idea of strong quality bitches are whats needed in todays breedings. Many breeders have untitled females bred to BSP this and BSP that but the female doesnt carry the traits or abilities themselves.
