Oh they were such beautiful pups, how heartbreaking.
Hope your little girl holds on, poor dear, sweet thing.
Does the vet have any idea of when you'll know if she's going to pull through?
RIP to the little ones lost. What a shame.

It just isn't fair! So sorry for your unfortunate tragedy. RIP Olf and Oxana. So sad, and such lovely young pups. Glad to hear the good news about Mom. I too pray for the other baby girl to get well.

So sorry Bhall! I live a little west of you and we havent seen a copperhead around here in years. It is so unforunate that these two beautiful animals had to meet paths like this. Praying for you, momma, and baby Olira.

I have seen them in the field but never had an encounter with one. Now I am terrified taking my dogs in the field but I have to stop it and go on. It was a freak accident and I have to live with the fact that we have snakes here. I just learned that I have to be even more careful with my puppies. Female is still doing good so far.

Not uncrossing my fingers until we hear back from you saying the little girl is recovered and still praying that she makes it.

I am so very very sorry for the loss of the puppies:( Glad the little girl is hanging in there and mom is better.
I have chickens, and am snake phobic, anyway, Sulfur has been mentioned numerous times on chicken forums I'm on, apparently you dust it around the area, snakes if they go thru it, get it in their scales and they don't like it, so it is supposed to be like a deterrent. I've never used it because I don't really have a snake problem here, but just wanted to add that.

Many roses to your puppies and many prayers to the last one.

Prayer is powerful and the last female is not recovered BUT she just ate a few soaked kibbles of puppy food. She then got up and had a bowel movement. Keep praying!

Is she taking water on her own? That and urination is usually the magic for anything.

I am praying here in Ontario. She must be a fighter. Oh... I hope she is ok. The two you lost, I think God will take very good care of them for you.
