Ladyfrost, if you feel that Jenni has been wronged, why don't you start a new thread to support her?

by Blitzen on 17 December 2012 - 20:12

Thumbs Up @ Hexe. Why DOES this thread bother you so much, Ladyfrost?

Teufel Hunde

by Teufel Hunde on 17 December 2012 - 21:12

THIS is just a warning for people in THIS (GSD)world about being cautious who they deal with.

Back in the "real" world I think we all are devastatedBroken Heart at the loss of innocent children and the adults who tried so hard to protect them. I think we are all still reeling from the devastation Sandy brought. I was quite relieved when someone I know made it through safely. Unfortunately the bump and grind of everyday life doesn't stop even with the occurrence of such tragedies.

And today in particular THIS is a diversion from my mother being in surgery and the fact the police are at my grandsons school because a .22 shell casing was found in the school cafeteria this morning.

I certainly cannot protect the world from the evils in it....but I can protect potential buyers from going through what I had to.

by zdog on 18 December 2012 - 03:12

I think this has gone far past "protecting" anybody and is just a reason to wake up and "grind" the 'ol axe every day.  At least once or twice.  Maybe give the dead horse a few whacks as well

by hexe on 18 December 2012 - 04:12

Hey, zdog, y'know what?  If it makes Teufel Hunde feel a little better to 'grind the ol' axe every day', who has any right to deny her that right, after the way this whole debacle unfolded?  I sure don't begrudge her that--one thing that seems to have been forgotten in all of the defending of the breeder's course of [in]action is the fact that Teufel Hunde DID--and, I submit, still DOES--love that dog, and certainly holds HIM blameless in this mess.  As an owner, Teufel Hunde was right there with the other people who got puppies from that litter, bragging on her boy and sharing pictures of him as he was introduced to the training field--so not only did she have to make a heartbreaking choice for him, insult was added to injury when she was then forced to go through the courts to try and get contractural performance from the breeder...which STILL hasn't happened.  Hell, if it were me, if it took my posting a brand new thread EVERY DAY, on EVERY message board or website the breeder frequented to spur that individual to remit the payment in full NOW, you can bet your house that I'd be doing just that.

And I'll fight tooth and nail the first person who tries to sling the, 'if she really loved that dog, she wouldn't have returned him to the breeder just because of his bad elbows' bullshit, because THAT is patently unfair--it's hypocritical to applaud a breeder who 'always stands behind the dogs they produce', but then pillory a buyer who makes the hard decision to use a warranty so bragged about by the breeder.

You may think it's beating a dead horse, but from where I stand, it's more like hitting a piñata until it finally opens up and releases the 'goods'.   Same principle, this.

I think there are the usual suspects continuing to roil the waters and egging the parties along, so that they can stay on the sidelines and watch the fun at somebody else's expense.  Some of the responses are just plain irritating, to be honest.  One mean/evil person even went to the extent of asking the "liquidation of the breeders' dogs" and that really got me incensed, to be quite honest.....utterly ugly, crude and indecent mind, and definitely will not be on the invite list at any of my events or be someone I would want to associate with.   These "assets for liquidation" as the person stated, are not commodities that you take off the shelf but are living, breathing, loving creatures with emotions and attachments.

IMHO, let the parties work it out.  This is anyway in litigation and the legal system is playing itself out. These ugly drumbeaters are definitely not doing anyone any favor.

by workingdogz on 18 December 2012 - 10:12

Hexe seems to see through to the meat of the matter!

The 'assests' aakay, whether you choose to see it that way or not,
are simply that in the eyes of the law. Dogs are considered property.
Perhaps if the 'breeder' spent less time on dog boards talking smack
about the OP and instead just put her monies owed in the mail, UPS
or FedEx, this thread will die out. But it will be a daily grind until the
OP is paid back. Once again, I wonder how you that want to stand
behind the 'breeder' would feel if it were your almost 2K being held
hostage?  Aakay, perhaps you missed the start of the thread?
This matter has BEEN to court and a judgement was made in favor
of the OP, but yet the 'breeder' has yet to repay her what is rightfully
owed to her. Do you think thats ok aakay? Because if it is, do you
think you could go ahead and pay the almost 2K to the OP? Then
you could let the 'breeder' take her time in paying you back instead?

Christ, a bunch of you jumped on Bob Kress for $200, but you seem
to think it's ok for the 'breeder' to keep almost 2K that is not rightfully hers?

And for what it's worth aakay, the 'breeder' has never seemed to have
a problem selling dogs and puppies she has purchased from others,
so not sure why it would present such a problem for her to do so now
to repay what is rightfully owed to a former puppy buyer?

Hexe, if people look down on the OP for returning the puppy, so be it.
The reality is, most people are limited both in time, money and resources
to the amount of dogs that they can own. The OP purchased the puppy to
do active and physically demanding K9 activities with, the dog was obviously
not going to be able to perform those activities without considerable pain due
to UAP/ED. I don't see how it's wrong at all the OP returned the puppy,
I am sure like you said, it was a tough decision to make. But the OP did what
was best for the puppy, even going so far as to continue to pay the insurance
premiums to aid the 'breeder' in having the surgery done etc.  The OP was also
generous enough to allow the 'breeder' time to repay her, as she was told of
a story of 'child custody legal bills' and of course the 'single mother' song too.
The OP returned the puppy with AKC papers and current, valid insurance to
the 'breeder' without being refunded her monies. I am betting the OP also paid
in full for the same puppy before leaving the 'breeders' home with him.

During all this time the 'breeder' made all
kinds of inferences to abuse and neglect on the part of the OP and went ahead
and accused her of trying to scam her for more money etc.

The 'breeder' should stop being a deadbeat and just pay her bills.
Pay what is owed to the OP.

I can't believe you're still blathering on about this, but you must not be aware that in the state of IL, one has 30 days to vacate a DEFAULT judgment and reset the case for trial. I am well within my legal rights and parameters here as far as timeframe. I have options to consider in light of recent events. I have tried repeatedly to pay and still this continues. If I'm not paying for peace, what am I paying for?! If nothing I do will make any difference, then maybe I should consider vacating the judgment like I have been counseled to do and proceed to court to recoup Corrado's medical costs as well as a few other items that have come about thanks to this thread? I am sincerely sorry for you that this is what your holiday season consists of. But, it gives me insight as to why you usual suspects might be so bitter and utterly hateful.   I want to thank you all for your 11 pages of evidence that there is more going on here than just a "warranty" issue as a few are so daft as to believe.

Maybe if some of you spent less time and energy cyberstalking me and more time trying to earn a living, you wouldn't think that $1500+ fees was so much money that there needs to be "asset discovery" (sorry, still LOL at that phrase used in this instance)Teeth Smile. Someone sent me an email that ya'll were on here appraising & selling my dogs and horses (I'd thought this thread disappeared)...

That's sweet of you to help your new friend TH (birds of a feather and all that...).  I thank you for showing anyone who might have had a remaining thoughts that there was any veracity to TH's story at all that this is not about dogs and doing what is"right" as you tried to paint it- no real dog person with half a heart or brain could post the way you're now posting. I agree totally with Joanro and Aaykay's posts. Once again, the sheer lack of critical thinking and compassion in favor of herd mentalitySheep justification for heinous statements and sentiments has been enlightening. This is purely personal, and since most of you are totally anonymous, too cowardly to really own up to your statements, it's a tad disturbing that you're so very interested in what I do, what I own, what dogs I have here, my personal life, etc.

None of you still on here resurrecting this constantly are remotely interested in facts, that much is obvious, so I'll save myself the trouble of going point- by- point over all the blatantly false statements being made here. It wouldn't make any difference.

To clear any confusion,  I own several nice dogs. I own a couple fairly nice horses and one very nice one. They're not for sale but thanks for your interest.  I do not  own a ski cabin in the Swiss Alps. Cry Smile

Happy Holidays, everyone.

P.S.  Stand behind what you say with your identity and then we'll talk like adults with a shred of class.  Until then, you're irrelevant, so, carry on as long as you like if it makes you feel good.

Jenni - No one can argue with your excellent song choice. The original video is fun too.

I'll even stand behind my statement with my real name. :)
