Are you quite certain that you have done your research, Jim?  This entire situation is bullshit.

by dixie25 on 05 December 2012 - 04:12

Keith-can you please explain what you mean? Preferably as detailed as what the OP laid out for all to see?

The "high" road indeed, just check the police records! Wink Smile

Roll eyes Sad story, the way you tell it. I especially like how you took evidence *I* provided you and put your own spin on it. Cry me a river. I'll give you one thing; you know your craft. You've been at it a looong time.

Corrado had OCD, UAP and prematurely closed distal ulnar physis in both elbows. Interesting that according to his own vet, he was "skeletally normal" in mid March, then had all these issues at the end of March. Lets not forget his broken canine tooth (broken because it basically grew in dead) and lump/healed fracture on his face. Bad genes? Maybe. That sure is some bad luck, though! One would think with genes like that, someone else would show just one out of those issues? But no...

Someone was concerned enough about him to send me a list as long as my arm of newspaper stories and public records of crimes and scandals involving Catherine and her sons and their father. I'm not that good at research.  Manipulation of the truth for monetary gain is no foreign concept. I begged to get the dog back, I promised to pay to get him back, and she complied. I mailed a certified check on May 7. You've all seen the scan of the check. I stopped payment on it 3 months later when she decided to sue me after I refused to show up with cash. I was tired of her veiled threats- coming from people with rap sheets like this, you wonder what "whatever it takes" (to quote her) really means.  I was encouraged to sue for damages, but declined, as you can't get blood from a rock and someone who has even thought of food stamp fraud is pretty much assured not to have that kind of money lying between the couch cushions.

Link to newspaper article mentioning overtime scandals: http://www.animaloutreachsociety.org/community/news/indNews.php?number=84 Here's an excerpt from another article:

"Employee Catherine Lockwood, who also is at the center of a nepotism controversy at Animal Control, has logged 267 hours of overtime so far this year, more than twice as much as any other employee, and almost 44 percent of all the overtime paid in the department since January. The overtime boosted her pay by more than $4,000 this year...

Even Lockwood's son, also an employee, has run up big overtime charges, despite working part time.

In one two-week pay period in June, Jason Duoblys was paid for 80.2 regular hours and an additional 14.8 for holiday overtime.

Now, this is just petty dishonesty, some might say, simply a crime against taxpayers (though how much better off would the animals have been if the money wasn't spent on overtime?). However, dishonesty is dishonesty, a cheat is a cheat.

How about felony food stamp fraud? Does that put a chip in the OP's credibility or create some reasonable doubt that she may not be telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth? I omitted her personal details.

State vs Catherine A. Lockwood

Green County Case Number 1994CF000036

Charge(s)
Count No. Statute Description Severity FELONY
1 49.127.(2m) Food Stamp Fraud

Classy, indeed.

Her son, who Corrado was co-owned with, has earned himself what appears to be a permanent order of protection- not that one was just requested, but after a trial, a long term one was granted by the judge. Silly of me to think he might be capable of violence. He achieved his first felony in 2002 and had several through 2009. No wonder TH is so proud! I'd be bursting with pride, too! Oh, the wonders of a mother's love. Father/son felonies and mother/son overtime scandals are always good to put in the Christmas letter.

Forgive me for calling a spade a spade. I have not posted anything directly about the OP that wasn't public record. If I posted the consolidated list of case numbers, I would have to make several posts. Not counting traffic, her son who co-owned Corrado has 12 criminal records, several felonies and the order of protection among them. Her son is not the one posting here, so I will refrain from posting his block of case numbers.

I don't know exactly what happened to that dog. How could I? I only know what the vet records show and that he is the only puppy I've had problems with, ever,  and coincidentally or not, the only puppy living with people possessing a large number of criminal case records. Between that and her behavior since I took him back (never once asking how he was or referring to him as anything but "that defective puppy"), I feel a lot better knowing he is no longer in her home.  It doesn't take an overly critical thinker to wonder if there isn't a pattern here.

All I ever cared about in this case is not an issue anymore. Corrado is safe and happy and in the kind of home he deserved in the first place. I don't know why the OP has refused to simply take a certified check for the money I promised upon return of the dog. Now, perhaps, since we finally have a legal record of such, she will take it and GO AWAY. These aren't the kind of folks I like to make lasting bonds with.

If someone wants more detailed reports, PM me your email address and I will forward you the consolidated report I was sent and you can start scrolling.

Good night.

If by some for some reason just thought you helped your cause...think again. I already predicted you would show your vindictive side. If ANYONE would like to contact me ...feel free. I hide NOTHING. Before you judge ...think twice if you don't know the circumstances.....after all, you now have a judgment against you...must make you a TERRIBLE person that doesn't pay their bills and meet their obligations.

Well that certainly looks like a cheap lowball attempt at taking attention away from THIS case..pretty sad

What would be credibre is if Jenni went to court rather than sat on a database and defend herself rather than dig up trash that is irrelevant....not showing up diminished any inegrity you had left.

Go ahead and spell Czech it, lol

by hexe on 05 December 2012 - 05:12

BahCan--to what are you referring? The Admin warning, the muckraking itself, what?

Distilled down to it's most precise point, it's a contracts/warranty issue. Not complicated at all.

by BahCan on 05 December 2012 - 06:12

Hexe......I was referring to the posting by Jen of the past of the OP, IMHO it has zero bearing on this case and is a cheap shot to deflect away from everything that happened in THIS case. If someone has a past with the law does it automatically mean they are guilty of everything they are accused of in the future, I think not. It went to court, it was settled in the OP's favour, and from what I see presented by the OP there was no abuse, I just think Jen should own it and not stoop to the level of now bringing up the past of the OP, it looks bad on her IMHO
